The excavator’s bucket swung up again.
Wu Caijun was scared out of his wits: "Little Divine Doctor, no, please no!"
However, the bucket moved extremely fast, reaching Ye Guichen in the blink of an eye.
Ye Guichen didn’t even move, not even sparing a glance at the bucket. Suddenly, he raised his hand and placed his palm on the massive bucket.
The next second, the sound of mechanical friction echoed.
The massive bucket seemed to be frozen in place, unable to move an inch further.
Before anyone could understand what was happening, a sound of a circuit being burnt was heard. The excavator’s bucket crashed to the ground with a loud bang, evidently broken.
This scene was as shocking as a lightning strike on a clear day, leaving everyone wide-eyed and slack-jawed.
The tattooed man gulped, his eyes nearly popping out.
"Is this even human?"
"The Earth Spirit has manifested! The Earth Spirit has manifested!"
The old man who had spoken earlier saw Ye Guichen blocking the excavator’s bucket with one hand and dropped to his knees with a thud, kowtowing to Ye Guichen.
The other villagers looked at each other, and many quickly followed suit, kneeling with bewildered looks in their eyes.
Wu Caijun was dumbfounded on the spot, his mind a muddled mess.
Could it really be the Earth Spirit manifesting? Otherwise, how could someone have such immense strength?
"Brother Hu, what do we do?" A little brother next to the tattooed man finally reacted, asking in a trembling voice.
The tattooed man’s face was extremely grim.
He even doubted whether a deity had truly manifested.
"Wait, I’m calling Brother Leopard." The tattooed man glanced warily at Ye Guichen, who stood there looking as calm as a Heavenly God, a relaxed smile still on his face.
After making a quick call, the tattooed man returned to Ye Guichen: "Kid, you’re pretty good. Just wait, our boss will be here soon."
"Fine, I’ll wait," Ye Guichen replied.
But as soon as the villagers heard the tattooed man’s boss was coming, they turned pale with fear.
"What should we do? I heard their boss is a real tough guy!"
"I, I don’t know either."
Wu Caijun looked at Ye Guichen: "Little Divine Doctor..."
"Don’t worry," Ye Guichen just smiled, "No matter who comes today, I’ll stand up for you."
Less than ten minutes later, a Mustang SUV led the way, followed by two vans.
Seeing this, the villagers shrank back in fear.
The tattooed man, however, looked smug, pointing his finger at Ye Guichen’s nose: "Our boss is here, let’s see what else you can brag about!"
Ye Guichen sneered, suddenly raising his hand and grabbing the tattooed man’s finger: "In this world, no one dares to point at me like that."
With that, Ye Guichen pressed down, breaking the tattooed man’s finger forcefully.
The tattooed man screamed in pain, falling to his knees in front of Ye Guichen, cursing: "You little bastard, you’re dead! If I don’t kill you today, I’m your son!"
The people with the tattooed man hadn’t expected Ye Guichen to be so defiant even at this point. They all started cursing.
"Get lost!" Ye Guichen kicked the tattooed man to the ground.
The tattooed man scrambled to the SUV, his voice now tearful: "Brother Leopard, Brother Leopard, you’re finally here."
Out of the SUV stepped a burly man.
The burly man had a hideous scar on his face, making him look extremely intimidating.
"Useless, can’t even handle such a small matter!" The burly man glared at the tattooed man: "Lead the way, I want to see who dares to oppose me, Black Panther."
The tattooed man nodded repeatedly, leading Black Panther towards Ye Guichen, gritting his teeth: "Brother Leopard, you must give that little bastard to me later. I want to torture him well!"
The newcomer was indeed Black Panther.
