On the other hand, the sturdier Half-Orc Karg, who had just had two ribs broken by the Gray Dwarf Commander Thorne, found the high-intensity current more painful than salt in a wound.
The chest wound combined with the current-induced agony made his vision dark and his eyes roll back, revealing large patches of white.
But Karg and Royce were not the worst off.
The most unfortunate was the Dwarf Warrior Bruno, as his thick metal plate armor conducted electricity the best, turning him into an electrified tin can.

Though the dark silver two-handed warhammer whirled back into the Gray Dwarf Commander Thorne’s hand, the strike, on which he had pinned high hopes, was blocked by the three.
This allowed Raine’s Third Level Spell, the Snow Rainstorm, to be successfully unleashed at maximum power, freezing Thorne and the Gray Dwarves in place.
Except for Thorne, whose armor emitted a glow preventing thick ice layers, the other sixteen Gray Dwarf Warriors were gradually turned into ice sculptures.

Thorne’s body swelled massively, his height soaring from about 1.5 meters to nearly 1.9 meters, and his rock-like muscles bulged further, shattering the two large blocks of ice beneath him instantly.

Freed from the ice’s bind, Thorne, furious, charged at Raine, enduring rain mixed with snow and hail.

Although Raine’s Spiritual Power could no longer support casting a second Third Level Spell, like a Lightning Arrow, First and Second Level Spells were still manageable.
The Earth Binding Spell was merely the beginning.
Raine took two quick steps, seemingly judging the distance, and then, whoosh!
A ring of white air waves surged from him, and the Gray Dwarf Commander Thorne felt an icy wave, like a tsunami, assail him before the quagmire-like resistance had even dissipated.
Underneath him, a solid white ice layer quickly formed again.
"Loren, use the trick Freezing Ray."
Raine’s voice echoed in Loren’s ear.
This snapped Loren back to reality, and he hurriedly agreed and began to cast.
"Oh, oh, okay!"
With a flash, a bluish-white beam in the air struck the Gray Dwarf Commander Thorne frozen in place.
Perhaps due to the surrounding cold air, although the Freezing Ray was merely a Zero Level Spell, its power was boosted by three to four folds.
Even though Thorne raised his arm to block it, a large white ice layer rapidly formed on the armor at his elbow.
Another icy blade, exuding cold air, flashed through the air!

With the ’Counter-attacking Ice Spirit’ and ’Wild Boar Shaman’ bloodlines, Raine’s spell count was near double digits, allowing him to deal considerable damage to the Gray Dwarf Commander through smart combinations, gaining an advantage.
It appeared his tactics were yielding positive results.

The Gray Dwarf Commander Thorne, accidentally disarmed by the Ice Blade, cursed as he pulled a faintly glowing scroll from his bosom.
"Cunning human!"
"Die!"
With a fierce rip from Thorne, a head-sized scorching fireball appeared out of thin air and, like a meteor, with a long orange-red tail, it hurled towards Raine and his companions.
