“I mean after you got your marriage certificate.” Su Han interrupted Du WenTao, speechless.
“After marriage? She is already mine then. Naturally, I can do whatever my heart desires,” said Du WenTao reflexively.
Having said that, as though realizing that something was off, he gave Su Han an odd look.
“Wait, wait, wait, Su Han. Your question seemed to be a bit out there.”
Initially, he had thought that his deskmate had finally got there. He was interested in a girl and planned to start pursuing her.
Lo an d behold, Su Han suddenly skipped straight to talking about marriage. That was a bit of a leap.
They were still 10 years too early for that.
Besides, even if their bodies were capable, it was still not allowed by the law.
Ignoring Du WenTao’s words, Su Han’s face dropped from what Du WenTao had said before that.
“Do whatever your heart desires?” Su Han repeated what Du WenTao had said through gritted teeth. His look turned stern and he said, “Don’t he dare!”
He? Who? Why were they still talking about this subject?
Du WenTao was befuddled by what Su Han was saying.
Why was it that he was so lost in what Su Han was saying?
Du WenTao shrank his neck back a little and thought to himself. He was very curious about what Su Han was talking about but, with the killer intent that was radiating from his words, Du WenTao, who loved his life a lot, silently recoiled back into his own seat.
The entire morning, Du WenTao dared not say an extra word with Su Han’s foul mood looming over him. Miraculously, he was able to followed today’s mathematics lecture and committed an extra 12 English vocabulary to his memory!
That lasted all the way until the fool Du WenTao had wandered over during their self-study session, completely devoid of any sense of survival instinct.

“Elaborate. What is going on?”
“Oh, man. I’ve been observing all morning long already! And you were here focusing in class?” Was this really the Du WenTao that he knew about?
“And Brother Han too.” Having said that, Liu Yangyang gave Su Han another explorative look.
Su Han was, indeed, a valedictorian but, Liu Yangyang had always felt that Su Han only got #1 because he was smart. It had nothing to do with hard work.

“What is it? You have a question or something?” asked Su Han as he raised his brows. He did not deny the fact that he was taking things very serious today.
“Yes, if Brother Han had to take classes so seriously, what are us school scums supposed to do?”
Su Han sneered when he heard that. He gave Liu Yangyang a contemptuous look and said, “Regardless of whether I am taking studying seriously or move ahead or drop a few place in my rank, how would that affect you?”
Liu Yangyang: Darn! That makes so much sense!
Seeing that look of being hit by reality on Liu Yangyang, Su Han, for once, kindly reminded him, “Finals are coming shortly.”
Liu Yangyang was startled by Su Han’s words. But, when he thought about it some more, something didn’t seem right.
“What do you mean ‘soon’? You are just trying to freak me out, Brother Han. They are still like 3, 2, or 1 month away?
“Besides, you are constantly in the top 3. What are you worried?” asked Liu Yangyang with a strange look.
The very next second, Su Han said seriously and coolly, “Second place is not an option for me.”
Truth was, Su Han didn’t particularly care about ranking.
But, the woman at home seemed to care about it a lot.
And if Su Ran really wanted to be the parent representative and speak to all the student’s parent at year end, then he would take the first place among his grade for her.

He refused to admit that, in addition to satisfying Su Ran’s desire, there was also the factor of some form of competition at home.
As he thought about that, he somewhat wished that finals would come sooner.
