Song Yan Ning and her company followed the bandits to their lair.
Atop the low hills, there were several thatched huts, and next to the huts were fields where several women were busy working. It didn’t look at all like a bandit hideout.
"Who are they?" An elder came up curiously when he saw the bandits bringing back Song Yan Ning and her group. The leader never brought anyone back when they went out robbing.
The leading bandit said with a pained expression, "They’re here to move things."
"Move things?" The elder was stunned.
The leading bandit shook his head and sighed, "You guys go and move the stuff from the warehouse for them." Those were items they had stolen with much difficulty, and now they would all have to be burned.
The bandits who went out with the leader nodded and headed towards the warehouse.
Before long, they carried over two large chests.
"These are the ones," the leading bandit said, wiping his eyes in agony, trying not to let his tears fall. If he could do it over, he definitely wouldn’t have provoked these robbers.
"Open the chests," Yun Mo said in an indifferent tone as he glanced at the chests.
The leading bandit hurriedly ordered his men to open the chests.
