Mystic Calling:Stone of Glory Chapter 198

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Three Inferno Devils—each one a Legendary Unit—were caught in the blast. They didn’t stand a chance. Auremax tore through them like paper, leaving them bloodied and broken.

With a thunderous roar, Auremax lunged forward, not giving them a second to recover. He went in for the kill.

And in less than a minute, all three Inferno Devils were dead—slaughtered by his claws.

"Holy shit... that’s unreal..."

Marquis Lucan stood frozen, completely stunned by what he’d just witnessed. His jaw clenched, eyes wide with disbelief—and, unmistakably, envy. For original chapters go to NovєlFіre.net

His emotions were a tangled mess of awe, excitement, and something close to dread.

As a Marquis of the Unicorn Duchy, Lucan considered himself a man of the world. He’d seen power before. But this? This Gold Dragon’s strength was on a whole other level.

"This kind of power... I’ve only ever heard of it in legends. Mythic Ace Units..."

He stared at Auremax, then glanced at Ethan, his mind racing.

"That’s a Mythic Ace Unit! The kind of unit said to be the closest thing to a Crimson Ultimate Hero—those godlike beings no one dares to challenge! And this guy, this Count Valkarion... he has one under his command?! Who the hell is he really?!"

In the world of Glory Lords X, the locals had a much more nuanced way of classifying unit strength. It wasn’t just about being a Legendary or Mythic Unit—there were layers.

At the bottom were the basic troops—your standard cannon fodder.

Then came the elite versions—stronger, better trained, but still not game-changers.

Above them were the so-called "Ace Units"—special troops just a step below the true heroes of war. These were the ones Ethan often referred to as "special units."

And make no mistake—Ace Units were no joke. At full strength, they could rival even the lesser heroes.

But when an Ace Unit was trained from a Legendary or Mythic unit?

That’s when things got scary.

Those were the ones who could go toe-to-toe with Crimson Ultimate Heroes—the most powerful, god-tier beings in existence.

And now Ethan had one of those monsters on his side.

To Lucan, that kind of power wasn’t something a minor noble should have. No way. That was the kind of force only the ruling elite of the strongest empires could command.

And Ethan didn’t just have Auremax.

He had another being under his command—one that was practically divine.

A Crimson Ultimate Hero.

Lucan couldn’t stop the thoughts from spiraling.

"Could he be... royalty? From one of the core bloodlines of a major empire?"

He stole a glance at Ethan, eyes filled with a mix of envy, suspicion, and a deep, instinctive fear.

Whoever this man was... he wasn’t someone to mess with.

Suddenly, the sky cracked open with a deafening roar.

Everyone instinctively looked up—just in time to see the Sacred Realm, which had been swirling and roaring like a storm moments ago, abruptly calm down and begin to dissipate.

And then, from the heart of that vanishing chaos, Cicero emerged.

He flew out effortlessly, not a scratch on him, not even a speck of dust. Calm, composed, and completely unharmed, he landed gracefully beside Ethan.

At the same time, the two 14-Tier Mythic Units—the Inferno Arch Devils that had entered the Sacred Realm with him—were nowhere to be seen.

It was as if they’d been erased from existence.

Draven and his crew froze, their breath caught in their throats. Their faces went pale, their expressions stiff with disbelief.

They knew better than anyone just how terrifying those Inferno Arch Devils were. They were monsters—forces of nature. Unshakable. Unstoppable. The kind of enemies you didn’t even think about fighting.

And yet... in just a few minutes, both of them had vanished without a sound?

The pirates had never seen anything like it. Their bodies trembled, cold sweat pouring down their backs. Some of them even staggered, as if their legs could no longer hold them up.

They were terrified—truly terrified.

This was the power of a Crimson Ultimate Hero. A being said to stand at the absolute peak of the Glory Lords X world.

And now they understood why.

More explosions echoed from above.

Everyone looked up again—just in time to see the last three 13-Tier Inferno Devils get obliterated by Auremax. He tore through them like they were nothing, their blood splattering across the sky.

And just like that, it was over.

The Inferno faction’s elite forces—two 14-Tier Mythic Units and seven 13-Tier Legendary Units—were completely wiped out.

Not a single one survived.

Auremax flapped his wings and soared down, his massive form shrinking as he landed beside Ethan. His golden scales shimmered in the light, his eyes calm and unreadable.

He turned his gaze toward the pirates across the deck—Draven and his men—and spoke in a low, emotionless voice.

"Master, what about them? Should I deal with them too?"

Sure, Draven’s forces looked impressive in terms of numbers. But that was all they had—numbers. And in this world, numbers meant nothing without power.

To Auremax and Cicero, these pirates were just background noise. They hadn’t even registered as a threat.

The only ones who’d caught their attention—barely—were the 11-Tier and 12-Tier Royal Units: the Naga Swordsmen and Swordmasters. Maybe the Legendary Kirin hidden aboard one of the Tier 2 warships.

But even those were just... mildly interesting.

The idea that this ragtag fleet could actually defeat them?

Both Auremax and Cicero had the confidence to wipe out the entire enemy force on their own.

"Master, why not just kill them all?" Cicero said casually, as if he were suggesting a walk in the park.

To him, these pirates were nothing more than walking EXP.

Sure, he was a bit of a slacker, but even Seraphina had hit level 30 by now. As her older brother, Cicero wasn’t about to fall behind.

And this? This was the perfect grinding opportunity.

He wasn’t about to let it go to waste.

But before Ethan could even respond, Pirate King Draven’s face twisted in panic. His body trembled, and sweat poured down his face like a waterfall.

He could feel it—the killing intent in the air.

He was this close to death.

Ethan turned to look at him, just about to speak—

But Draven dropped to his knees with a loud thud, bowing so low his forehead slammed against the deck.

"W-Wait! Please, great lord!" he stammered, his voice shaking. "I—I have information! Valuable information! Something worth more than gold, more than anything!"

He looked up, eyes wide with desperation.

"Please... I swear, you’ll want to hear this. It’s something you’ll definitely be interested in!"
