Mystic Calling:Stone of Glory Chapter 478

Every time the dragon’s breath swept across the battlefield, it devoured wave after wave of enemy units.

But what made it even more terrifying was that the Draconic Force didn’t just vanish into the air—it transformed into molten lava, raining down like a fiery meteor shower onto the enemy lines.

"Trying to run?" Malenthia’s expression darkened as she sensed something was off. She immediately unleashed the power of the Hexbound Realm again, aiming to intercept and hunt down Seraphina. But just then—

A blazing sword of light came crashing down.

The sheer force of the magical energy behind it stopped Malenthia in her tracks.

Her face twisted into a deeper scowl as she looked up and locked eyes with Ethan. Her voice dripped with mockery and venom. "You pathetic little worm. Are you trying to provoke the great Malenthia? Or are you just eager to die?"

"You think you can take me on alone? I’ll tear you apart."

Ethan took a deep breath, his gaze just as cold. "Come on, then. Let’s find out."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Seraphina had arrived—and it was like unleashing a tiger into a flock of sheep. She instantly became an unstoppable force of destruction.

Her terrifying roars echoed across the sky. Even the mighty Red Dragons—13th Tier Legendary Units—crumbled like clay under her assault. She stomped one into the ground, its dark gray blood splattering everywhere like molten rock, scorching countless low-tier Dungeon troops to death.

"What are you doing here? You left Lord Ethan to fight Malenthia alone?" Isaryne’s voice came through, tinged with confusion and concern.

But Seraphina didn’t answer. Instead, she let out another furious roar, spread her wings, and with a flash, launched herself straight at an orange-tier Legendary Hero.

WHOOSH! Newest update provided by novel fire.net

Her claws ignited with blazing fire, raw magic, and surging Draconic Force. All of it boiled together into a devastating strike.

She dove straight at the orange-tier hero—

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH...

But just as she was about to land the blow, the Shadow Matriarch forces on the battlefield’s edge launched their counterattack.

Thousands of dark energy beams tore through the sky, slamming into Seraphina all at once.

Even under that brutal barrage—

Seraphina didn’t flinch.

Her attack punched straight through the storm of magical blasts and slammed into the orange-tier Legendary Hero with full force. And then—

The sheer power of the strike, fueled by Seraphina’s desperation and fury, obliterated the hero in a single blow.

Isaryne froze for a second, stunned. Then she glanced at Seraphina, and her eyes shifted toward Ethan, still locked in a one-on-one battle with the Dungeon King, Malenthia.

Her expression turned solemn.

"Looks like I need to pick up the pace too..."

Before Seraphina arrived, Isaryne had already taken down four orange-tier Legendary Heroes.

Now Seraphina had just made it five.

That left about eight more targets.

Still a lot—but not too many.

Seraphina struck again. A terrifying surge of Draconic Force gathered in her hands—same motion, same devastating attack—and just like that, another orange-tier Legendary Hero was obliterated in a single blow.

Isaryne erupted in a blaze of phoenix fire, her entire body engulfed in roaring flames as she launched herself at another nearby orange-tier Legendary Hero.

Moments later, that hero was reduced to ash—nothing left but scorched earth.

And Seraphina? She wasn’t slowing down one bit.

Truth be told, the tide of battle had shifted dramatically the moment Ethan made the call to unleash Seraphina, letting her team up with Isaryne to wipe out Malenthia’s elite orange-tier commanders.

From that point on, everything changed.

Sure, Malenthia’s side had over a dozen orange-tier Legendary Heroes at the start.

And yeah, two of them were even peak-tier—top of the food chain.

But could they really stand against Isaryne?

Could they match Seraphina?

Could they survive the two of them working together?

The power gap between them was massive—an unbridgeable chasm.

And so, as the minutes ticked by, Malenthia’s elite began to fall like dominoes.

From over a dozen, to single digits, and now—only two peak-tier orange Legendary Heroes remained, barely hanging on, fighting tooth and nail just to stay alive.

Ethan was still holding the line.

Up in the sky, Ethan was clearly reaching his limit. His health had dropped below a third—dangerously low. One more full hit from Malenthia’s dark curse barrage, and he could be toast. Instant death wasn’t off the table.

But after all this time, he’d started to notice a pattern.

Malenthia’s dark curse attacks weren’t completely random. They had a rhythm, a tell.

As long as he kept moving—never staying still, shifting unpredictably—her curse magic had a harder time locking onto him.

Still, knowing that didn’t mean he could win. He was just buying time. That was the whole point.

Stall her. Distract her. Survive.

WHOOSH! Suddenly, Ethan felt a spike of danger.

He activated the Sacred Realm’s power—blinked out of sight.

BOOM! Right on cue, dozens of magical beams slammed into the spot he’d just vacated, tearing it apart.

If he’d been even a second slower, he’d be in pieces.

"Her attack speed... it’s slowing down," Ethan muttered, eyes narrowing as he glanced at Malenthia, who was glaring at him with pure venom.

That should mean she’s getting tired... but seriously?

It hadn’t even been an hour.

She’s the Dungeon King. That’s all the stamina she’s got?

Still, whether it was true or not didn’t really matter. His job was to keep her busy, and he was doing exactly that.

Stay sharp. Don’t let up. That’s all that mattered.

"Congratulations, player Valkarion. Your level has increased. You’ve successfully reached Level 69!"

"Congratulations, player Valkarion. Your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Seraphina, has leveled up to 71!"
