"Diviner, Lady, what should I do?" Hefei sat in front of the Crystal Ball.

Four people simultaneously had a string of question marks float over their foreheads, with Veronica turning her head directly toward Wayne.
"Why are you looking at me? I’m not the Death Knight."
Wayne held Veronica’s head, turning it forward, and then said, "Lady Diviner, is your prediction reliable, or are you just saying anything because it’s free and you’re not planning on being responsible?"
"Although fate is predetermined, there are some great beings who have the power to defy fate. They can not only control their own destiny but also manipulate others’, veering the original trajectory of fate around themselves."
"So, the predetermined fate will venture onto the next predetermined destiny, and my divination is not absolutely accurate."
"It has been two years since the last predetermined destiny," the Diviner continued, "and a lot can change in two years. If you have doubts about my divination, you can come for another session after the next fate adjustment."
"When will the next fate adjustment happen?" asked Hefei.
The Dark-Skinned Diviner’s voice was soft and gentle, but her mechanical, uninspired tone made Wayne wonder if she was an artificial intelligence from the Magic Realm.
