Felster disregarded the interference of the Life Force Field on perception, staring straight at Anick, who looked bewildered, not understanding what was happening.
"Forget it, you’re just a puppet, and it’s pointless to explain too much to you. Since I’m the only one here with an independent will, naturally, I have the final say."
He raised his glass slightly toward Anick, a glint of gold shining in his eyes, while a six-winged halo surrounded by Holy Light unfurled behind him.
That apparition spread its six wings, and golden radiance formed golden pupils—the Eye of Judgment!
Once, Mona mistook the Great Eyeball on Wayne’s chest for the Eye of Judgment and was convinced he was the reincarnation of an Angel.
In an instant, Anick’s Life Force Field lost all its luminance, the energies represented by the Four Elements, the matter constituted by the Four Elements, and even the knowledge accumulated from years of practicing Magic, all evaporated without a trace.
Anick himself, eyes emitting white light, was tormented internally by the Holy Flame, burning his body and mind entirely to death.
"Sorry, it’s been a long time since I used Magic, I thought you could survive."
Felster dropped the wine glass, and the moment the Life Force Field dissipated, he fell with an "ouch," collapsing back into the banquet hall alongside the other unconscious members of the Tulip Family.
Over here, Austin, using the Dark Knight’s power, wiped out Shati’s Life Force Field, returning with Hefei and Philomena. They did not see the Legendary Mage Anick, only the Tulip Family members lying unconscious all over the floor.
"What on earth happened..."
Austin frowned, his intuition telling him that Douglas still had allies, and that tonight’s coup was not as straightforward as it seemed.
"I’m going to find Wayne, you, Hefei..."
"Don’t raise your fists, I didn’t say to wait here, or go anywhere else."
Amidst the chaotic space, Juno stumbled and struggled to search for the silhouette of the Devil.
In terms of energy attributes, Angels and Devils were nearly evenly matched in evolution, neither significantly stronger than the other. However, Douglas had a Field Card, was unaffected by the chaotic space himself, and his evolution continued unabated.
As the fight progressed, Juno went from an even match to being on high alert, wary of sneak attacks from all directions.
She attempted to find a pattern in the chaotic space, but Douglas’s constant interruptions left her unable to start. Most frustrating to her was the figure in a Black Robe outside the arena, mysterious and seemingly an ally, working on breaking the Spatial Barrier.
The pace was so slow it was maddening, clearly not putting in full effort.
For the sake of a beautiful person acting so elegantly, she decided not to hold a grudge.
Suddenly, a gust of wind surged behind her, and blades of spacial rift crossed down, aiming straight for Juno’s pristine wings.
The straightforward attack did not escape Juno’s Perception, but she dared not meet it head-on. Given the disparity in their strength and having suffered a few losses, she wisely chose to dodge. While sidestepping, she turned and was about to hurl the Holy Light Spear in her hand...
She did not throw it.
Two new faces appeared on Douglas’s chest.

Juno gritted her teeth, her Holy Spear dividing in her hand, Holy Light droplets scattering, dampening Douglas’s body. Upon successful contact, magical tracking runes were inscribed on his skin.
Just as Juno finished declaring her success, Douglas’s body shattered like a mirror, and a massive shadow and pressure assaulted her from behind. Two large hands clamped onto her pure white wings.
With a horrific tear, Juno screamed as she lost a wing, and boundless Darkness enveloped her, imprisoned within her by Douglas.
The Devil opened its gaping maw, Devouring the Angel’s wing, and then howled triumphantly to the sky, bony spikes protruding from its back, sprouting pitch-black Bat Wings.
All Divine Blood was captured; next was to initiate the mist to activate the Divine Blood...
And infuse it into The Book of Hell!
Invisible Darkness crushed through barrier after barrier, the Dark Knight striding forward, a rebellious mount in tow, alongside the Moonlight Church High Priest looking for the Prince.
But after a flash of black light, the Dark Knight vanished without a trace.
