Dreyne had a thick skin and didn’t give Wayne a chance to rebut, waving his hand to part the Void as a swift white figure slowly materialized.
A five-meter-long winged drake, slender in form with a body covered in fine white scales—Dreyne’s favorite color.
Saina, the Giant Dragon that Megan had transformed into, worked with the Dragon Knight to have an average effect in combat, but this Drake called ’White Shadow’ was just perfect. Its agile mobility allowed Dreyne to freely change his angle of attack on the battlefield.
Of course, a pet meant more than just a mount. Although White Shadow was excellent, in actual combat, its real speed was far slower than Dreyne running on foot.

"Dreyne, the Lando Family is the rightful owner of Windsor, having inherited everything from the Windsor Family, and this place is my family’s warehouse. What you’re doing is outright robbery," Wayne said angrily.
Dreyne shrugged her shoulders, letting Wayne say whatever he wanted. She had set her sights on the Dragon Blood and that was that—if he didn’t like it, they could sit down and play cards for it...
Never mind, playing cards would hurt their camaraderie. No card playing today.
Dreyne whistled as she operated the Alchemy Array, while Wayne continued voicing his dissatisfaction. He wasn’t so much reluctant to part with a bit of Dragon Blood—after all, a Drake could only process so much—this was to make a point and let Dreyne realize how despicable and shameless her actions were.
With this in mind, it would be easier to approach Dreyne for favors later on.
As a God-chosen Knight, a wealth of knowledge was at one’s disposal, and the power of the Alchemy executed by Dreyne herself was astonishing. Five minutes later, she had managed to extract the first portion of Dragon Blood.

Any other Legendary Mage might have started beating a retreat at this point, fearful that the Giant Dragon might come back to life at any moment, but not Dreyne. The Giant Dragon was already dead, what persisted was the life force it couldn’t settle in death.
She was kind-hearted, helping to receive this life force to allow the Giant Dragon to rest in peace.
Pah! To rest after death!
The first portion of Dragon Blood was thrown to her mount, White Shadow, and Wayne then took the rest and bottled it up using glass bottles forged by thought.
So much Dragon Blood, enough for Veronica to bathe in it.
"By the way, those dragon bones can be reforged by thought as well. I’ll charge you a bit for labor to forge a few Dragon Tooth Swords. That’s not too much to ask, right?"
"Sure, a seventy-thirty split."
"Why only thirty percent?"
"Thirty percent for you, pah, I’m keeping the seventy percent."
Dreyne pursed her lips and didn’t say much else. She had to pass it down to her successor anyway, so she might as well just give it away.
Below her feet, the Alchemy Array burst forth with Moonlight that gradually enveloped the entire space, collecting the lingering life force of the mountains formed from the Giant Dragon’s vitality, accelerating the refinement of the Dragon Blood.
Wayne was hectically bottling, grinning from ear to ear, and gave the Devil a silent thumbs up.
When it came to the leader of the transportation crew, one had to look to these Devils. They truly stepped up when needed!
Aside from the Giant Dragon’s life force, this space also contained the Laws of Fire and Death; Wayne did not taste them immediately, planning to indulge slowly after Dreyne had left.

As she refined, Dreyne furrowed her brows, "No, there’s something else in these flames..."
She waved her hand in the air and rapidly touched the emptiness, causing ripples of Moonlight wherever her fingertips grazed, blasting the fire canopy frantically with her surging energy and successfully isolating something utterly different from the Giant Dragon.
The Alchemy Array shone brilliant light as strands of red blood converged and took shape.
The blood glowed pure and flawless, spreading the sanctified aura of Heaven outward.
"The Blood of Heaven..."
Dreyne pondered for a moment, murmuring, "Saint George’s Divine Blood. He truly was, just as the legends said, a High Order Angel."
