Rai nodded with a smile. "Okay, Hiroshi-san, leave it to me!"
Rai removed his own balloon and attached Ichiryu’s to himself.
"I’ve disliked Ichiryu for a long time. Finally, I get a chance to mess with him," Rai said, grinning.
"Let’s wait here a while. Let’s see what happens after their fight. I don’t think Ichiryu will be eliminated; his balloon is safe with us. For now, they can’t do anything to him," Hiroshi whispered to the others.
Harumiko, Rai’s sister, and Rai nodded, smiling.
The battle between Ichiryu’s team and the other team had reached a fever pitch; several members from both sides had already been eliminated.
"I can’t believe it! Ichiryu actually defeated the other team! Only one person’s balloon remains unpopped!" Harumiko exclaimed, watching the battle.
"That’s right, Ichiryu does have some skill; otherwise, he wouldn’t be so confident. Right now, only two people remain on Ichiryu’s team, while only one person on the other team hasn’t been eliminated," Hiroshi said, nodding.
Hiroshi and his team remained hidden in the bushes for quite some time.
"This is dragging on forever. I didn’t expect both teams to be so evenly matched; they’ve been fighting for ages!" Hiroshi said impatiently.
Just as Ichiryu seemed to be losing patience, the situation took a sudden turn.
Ichiryu vanished, reappearing instantly behind his opponent. His speed was remarkable; his opponent didn’t even see him coming. Within seconds, Ichiryu had his opponent’s balloon in his grasp.
"Alright, alright, no more dilly-dallying. Your time’s up, kid. Go take a rest," Ichiryu said, grinning as he held the opponent’s balloon.
The opponent, though clearly frustrated, was powerless to stop Ichiryu from eliminating them.
