Hiroshi quickly descended from the tree and approached Harumiko and the others, having pinpointed Itachi’s location.
"Everyone, be careful. Itachi Uchiha’s team is nearby. They’re probably planning an ambush," Hiroshi whispered, crouching down.
Harumiko and the others nodded. "Okay, Hiroshi. We understand. What should we do?"
Hiroshi sat down, stroking his chin. "Since they want to ambush us, let’s turn the tables."
"Turn the tables?" Harumiko and the others echoed in unison, surprised by Hiroshi’s plan. They hadn’t expected this; it seemed like giving away their position.
"Listen. Their ambush has a reason. We know their location. Why don’t we set a trap and let them walk right into it?" Hiroshi whispered.
His explanation only confused them further.
Seeing their puzzled expressions, Hiroshi smiled. "We know their position, but they don’t know we know. We’ll pretend we don’t know, and secretly set a trap!"
Harumiko and the others began to understand.
"So, they’ll ambush us, and walk right into our trap," Hiroshi concluded.
Harumiko and the others finally grasped his plan.
"That’s clever! Hiroshi, you’re so resourceful!" Harumiko exclaimed, laughing.
Rai and his sister also laughed.
"Alright, alright, stop laughing. I may be resourceful, but I wouldn’t use these tricks on my friends and family. Especially you," Hiroshi said, smiling at Harumiko.
Harumiko’s face flushed.
"Hiroshi, when do we start setting the trap? We know their location, but not when they’ll attack," Rai pointed out.
Hiroshi patted Rai’s shoulder, smiling. "Good point."
"We know their position, but not their timing. We need to set the trap quickly before it’s too late!" Hiroshi said seriously.
Harumiko and the others nodded, and Hiroshi began outlining the trap’s construction.
Itachi Uchiha and his team were remarkably patient. It seemed even Itachi wasn’t confident in defeating Hiroshi.
