"Eating a full hot pot is expensive, though. I prefer having a little hot pot and then some other things. I love dessert; it’s the perfect way to finish a meal," Harumiko said with a smile. She explained her preference for dessert.
Hiroshi nodded. "Since we’re both full, you can rest here. I’ll clean up the dishes," he offered. He offered to clean up.
Harumiko nodded and watched as Hiroshi gathered the dishes. She watched as he cleaned up.
Hiroshi quickly cleaned up the dishes and carried them to the kitchen. He efficiently cleaned up.
Harumiko also got to work, wiping the table with napkins. She cleaned the table. Then, she settled onto the sofa.
"I can’t believe I ended up eating dinner at Hiroshi’s place. I’m so happy. I thought he’d be home alone," Harumiko thought, sitting on the sofa. She reflected on her unexpected dinner.
Hiroshi happily washed the dishes in the kitchen because he’d shared the meal with the girl he loved. He felt happy about sharing the meal.

Everyone hopes for a family and someone they love. Having those things makes life worthwhile. Having a family and someone to love makes life meaningful.
That was Hiroshi’s wish, to spend his life with someone. Now, with Harumiko by his side, he was truly happy. He was happy to have Harumiko by his side.
