Meeting her was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me; I used up all my good fortune," Hiroshi thought, smiling as he gazed at Harumiko’s profile.
Harumiko noticed Hiroshi stealing glances at her, and her cheeks flushed slightly. How could she not be embarrassed when the person she liked was looking at her?
"Hiroshi, what’s wrong? You’ve been staring at me since a while ago. Is there something on my face?" Harumiko, no longer paying attention to the lesson, focused all her attention on Hiroshi.
Harumiko’s cheeks grew increasingly red under Hiroshi’s gaze, her face resembling a ripe apple.
"Harumiko, what’s wrong? Why are your cheeks so red? Did your fever return?" Hiroshi asked anxiously, whispering to Harumiko.
Seeing the teacher’s back was turned, Hiroshi urgently asked Harumiko, "Harumiko, what’s wrong? Why are your cheeks so red? Did you get a fever again?"
Harumiko quickly shook her head and whispered, "No, I feel perfectly fine. My face is red because you’re staring at me!"
Hiroshi breathed a sigh of relief, then chuckled, "So it’s because of me! Haha."
"I never imagined Harumiko would be so shy. I only glanced at her for a moment, and her face turned as red as an apple. It’s truly amazing!" Hiroshi thought to himself, smiling as he looked at Harumiko’s blushing face.
Noticing Hiroshi was still smiling, Harumiko turned to him and whispered, "You’re still laughing? If it weren’t for you, my face wouldn’t be this red! Believe me, if you keep laughing, I’m ignoring you!"
Hiroshi immediately stopped smiling, shook his head, and said, "Sorry, Harumiko. Don’t worry, I won’t laugh anymore!"
Harumiko nodded with a smile. "That’s better. My blushing is all your fault!"
Hiroshi wanted to laugh but dared not. He could only stifle his laughter and nod.
"Alright class, that’s all for this lesson! Everyone, take a break,"
The teacher announced, gathering her materials and leaving the classroom.
"Finally, class is over. That was boring! But at least you were next to me, Harumiko," Hiroshi said, turning to Harumiko.
