"Time flies. It’s almost evening. It must be crowded outside, so I’ll stay home and rest," Uzumaki Hiroshi murmured, a smile playing on his lips as he calmed his racing thoughts.
"Ding! Host has successfully integrated the Devil Fruit. Host now possesses the ability to copy jutsu."
Hiroshi was elated; his strength had increased again.
"So tired... so tired... I never thought integrating the Devil Fruit would be so painful. But as they say, no pain, no gain!" He lay back down, closing his eyes.
"I’ll get a good night’s sleep and train in the back mountains tomorrow."
He immediately fell into a deep sleep; he was truly exhausted.
Meanwhile, back at her home, Harumiko tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Perhaps it was because of her day out with Hiroshi.
What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I sleep? All I can think about is Hiroshi... Could I possibly like him? she wondered, blushing as the thought occurred to her.
Perhaps every girl experiences this.
The night passed quickly, and morning arrived.
The weather was pleasant—gentle breezes and a soft sun.
"Ah, so comfortable! I slept so well last night. It’s a beautiful day—perfect for training!" Hiroshi said cheerfully, looking out at the sun.
He got up, stretched, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
"Uncle Minato and Aunt Kushina aren’t awake yet. I won’t disturb them. I’ll just go train in the back mountains," he decided, leaving the house and heading towards the main street.
The morning in Konoha was relatively quiet. A few elderly people strolled along the streets, and the breakfast shops were already open, bustling with customers.
"I should grab some food before heading to the training grounds. I don’t want to get hungry while training," he murmured, touching his stomach. He approached a breakfast shop and inquired about the price of the buns.
He bought four buns, each with a different flavor.
"These buns are big and cheap! Four should fill me up!" he said happily, examining his purchase.
With his buns in hand, he set off towards the back mountains.
"The morning air in Konoha is so fresh and clean. It’s wonderful!" he exclaimed, taking a deep breath upon reaching the Hokage Rock.
Standing atop the Hokage Rock, overlooking Konoha, he marveled at its beauty and tranquility.
