The second elder wanted to explain. He had always supported the village. Even when the Uchiha clan was forced to give up the Police Force, he played a part, or else they wouldn't have given up half of it.
Even this coup had been pushed by Fugaku Uchiha.
He had always longed for peace, despite the village's oppression, he still sided with the village.
He didn't want to die.
But he knew he couldn't beat Itachi, so he tried to explain, hoping that Itachi would understand.
"My mission is to wipe out the Uchiha clan. So... for Konoha, please die, second elder!" Itachi said coldly. With a flicker, he appeared in front of the second elder and stabbed his blade into his chest!
Blood sprayed everywhere!
The second elder's eyes were filled with disbelief. He glanced down at the blade piercing his chest, then at Itachi, and finally, in his last moments, he struggled to speak:
