"Impossible, Genya. I absolutely cannot let you leave the village."
Uchiha Kinya looked at Genya, his mouth twitching as determination spread across his face.
He was very clear about one thing: under no circumstances would he let Genya leave the village.
The process of escorting goods outside was never peaceful. Every convoy had faced attacks from rogue ninjas, and he couldn't let Genya risk such dangers.
Genya was too young, and even a small mistake could put him in serious danger or even lead to his death.
He would not allow that to happen.
"Dad, don't be so worried. I'm really strong now! Let me join the convoy and go outside!" Genya quickly reassured his father when he saw how anxious he was. "If we run into rogue ninjas, I can help!"
"Strong, huh? You're getting overconfident. If I don't rein you in, you'll be running away from home next!" Uchiha Kinya sat back in his chair, glaring at Genya. "You think you're strong, do you? Can you beat Uncle Shin?"
"If you can defeat your Uncle Shin, I'll agree to let you leave the village!"
Uchiha Kinya knew his son was probably quite strong and had been hiding his true abilities, but defeating Uchiha Shin was still out of the question.
With this thought, he took a sip of tea, feeling rather satisfied.
Uchiha Shin was one of the top ten fighters in the Uchiha clan, which was exactly why Kinya held him in such high regard.
"Really? If I defeat Uncle Shin, I can join the convoy?" Genya's eyes lit up instead of showing disappointment after hearing his father's condition.
His father hadn't outright refused him, which meant there was a chance.
Uchiha Kinya looked at Genya, surprised. "Genya, you don't really think you can beat Shin, do you? He's one of our clan's Elite Jonin!"
As he spoke, he started looking at his son with a puzzled expression.
Was Genya becoming too arrogant? Even though he had defeated two Cloud ninja not long ago, those Chunin were not at the same level as Uchiha Shin.
"Dad, how will we know if I don't try?" Genya responded nonchalantly, a smile still on his face.
Over the past few months, Genya had grown to trust Uchiha Shin deeply. Showing a bit of his strength in front of him was fine, as he knew Shin would never betray him.
"Do you really want to challenge Uchiha Shin to a fight?" Uchiha Kinya looked at Genya and asked seriously once again.
He had already thought it over. Genya was indeed getting a bit too cocky, and it was time for him to face a strong opponent who could teach him a lesson and make him understand the dangers of the world, while also making him settle down.
"Mm!" Genya nodded firmly.
"Alright, then I agree to your request!" Uchiha Kinya was now fully committed: "I'll lower the difficulty a bit. If you can last for the time it takes to drink two cups of tea under Uchiha Shin's hand, I'll agree to let you go with the merchant caravan!"

"Shin!" Seeing Genya nod, Uchiha Kinya didn't hesitate. He went outside and called Uchiha Shin in.
Uchiha Shin walked into the room. When he saw the stern faces of father and son, he immediately had the urge to leave. There was definitely no good news waiting for him now!
"Shin, this kid wants to challenge you!" Uchiha Kinya went straight to the point after entering, recounting Genya's challenge and emphasizing the bet he had made with his son.
Uchiha Shin listened, his lips twitching!
This was a tricky situation. Fighting Genya? The kid was only a few years old, and if he was even slightly too rough, the child could get hurt.
"Uncle Shin, you don't have to hold back during the fight. If I lose, I won't leave Konoha," Genya said, blinking his innocent eyes at Uchiha Shin, though his tone was serious.
The real reason he said this was also to test his own strength.
"No need to hold back. It'd be best if he ends up in the hospital for a few days!" Uchiha Kinya angrily nodded.
Uchiha Shin, however, felt a bit conflicted. Not holding back?
If he didn't hold back, he felt that Uchiha Genya would be finished in three moves!
But, he understood Uchiha Kinya's intentions, which was to break Genya's resolve of leaving.
"Alright!" After thinking it through, Uchiha Shin said to Genya, "Genya-kun, let's go to the training ground!"
Since that's the case, Uchiha Shin decided to finish this quickly.
"It can't be at the training ground!" Genya shook his head decisively. His current strength wasn't something he wanted these people to know about, so he had to change the location. "Tomorrow morning, there's a small, remote lake north of Konoha. We'll fight there."
"North of Konoha? A small lake?" Uchiha Shin looked at Genya strangely, thinking to himself, *Could it be that Genya is afraid of losing in front of these people?*
He chuckled inwardly, *At such a young age, already concerned about his pride!*
However, if it's a small lake, then it's a small lake. It wouldn't take much to deal with this little brat. He planned to play along with the kid!
And so, they agreed to meet tomorrow morning by the small lake to fight.
The next day, Genya finished training his body and, with Hikari by his side, headed towards the small lake north of Konoha.
Upon arriving by the lake, Genya started grilling fish while waiting for his father and Uchiha Shin to arrive.
"Genya-sama, are you really going to fight Uncle Shin? Uncle Shin is very strong!" Hikari looked at her Genya-kun with concern. One was Konoha's top jonin, and the Genya-kun had just started training recently.
She was worried Genya might get hurt!
"Haha, I amn't weak either!" Genya laughed loudly, his eyes full of confidence. "Hikari, don't you want to see how strong I've become after my transformation? Today, I'll let you witness it!"
"Also, I need more experimental data!"
Genya smiled, his tone full of confidence. "I will definitely win!"
"Hmm," Hikari nodded seriously, her eyes filled with even more admiration.
"Haha, kid, you're getting a bit cocky now that you've gained some strength. Today, I'll make sure your Shin teaches you a good lesson!" Genya turned, just as the annoying voice of Uchiha Kinya reached them.
Uchiha Shin followed closely behind!
On the way here, Uchiha Kinya had briefly told Uchiha Shin about how Genya had killed two Chunin. Now, as he looked at Genya, his expression became strange!
A young kid, killing two Chunin?
That was enough to be considered a genius of the Uchiha clan!
"Uncle Shin, since you're here, let's start!" Genya shoved all the grilled fish in his hand into his mouth and slightly bowed to Uchiha Shin. "I'm in a bit of a hurry!"
