Ibiki took a step forward, his presence commanding the attention of everyone in the room. His scarred face and cold gaze swept over the gathered Genins before he spoke, his voice low and firm.

"My name is Ibiki Morino," he began. "I am the proctor for the first test of the Chunin Exams."

He pointed sharply at the Otogakure ninjas. "And you, Oto ninjas—this is not the place for you to go wild. You are not allowed to take anyone's life unless I say so, nor can you fight without my explicit permission. Got it?"

The three Oto ninjas stiffened, their earlier defiance visibly shrinking under Ibiki's scrutiny. Zaku managed to stammer, "It's our first time participating in the Chunin Exams, so we didn't know the rules."

Dosu and Kin nodded in agreement, standing silently at Zaku's side.

Ibiki's piercing gaze lingered on them for a moment before shifting to Inoiki. "And the same goes for you, Inoiki," he said.

Inoiki, as calm as ever, nodded without saying a word.

Satisfied, Ibiki straightened and addressed the entire room. "Now, submit your registration applications and take one of these cards." He held up a small card, no larger than a passport photo, with a single number printed on it. "Your seat for this test will match the number on your card. Once you have your card, find your seat."

The room stirred as Genins moved to submit their registration forms, exchanging murmurs and glances as they collected their cards. One by one, they found their designated seats, the atmosphere growing more tense with each passing moment.

When everyone was seated, Ibiki stepped to the front of the room and spoke again, his voice cutting through the silence. "Now, let me explain the rules for your first test."

The room fell deathly silent as he continued. "This test consists of 10 questions. Each question is worth one point, meaning a perfect score is 10 points. Your team's final result will be based on the combined score of all its members." He paused, letting the weight of his words settle in before adding, "Inoiki will be an exception. As he is participating solo, his score will be multiplied by three for ranking purposes."

A few murmurs rippled through the room at this announcement, but Ibiki silenced them with a sharp glance.

"Now, here's the catch," he said, his voice taking on a darker tone. "You are allowed to cheat—but know this: the invigilators scattered throughout the room will be watching your every move. If you are caught cheating more than five times, you will be immediately disqualified. Additionally, for each instance you are caught cheating, two points will be deducted from your score."

The Genins exchanged wary glances, their apprehension growing.

Ibiki continued, holding up a test paper. "The test in front of you contains nine

He stepped back and folded his arms, his gaze sweeping over the room. "Your time starts now."

The sound of papers rustling filled the room as the Genins flipped over their tests and began their work.

Inoiki scanned through the question paper with practiced ease. For him, these questions were hardly a challenge. As a reincarnator, he possessed the foundational knowledge of his previous life, supplemented by years of rigorous study in this one. With both sets of experiences under his belt, the test seemed almost trivial, and he began solving the questions without hesitation.

Around him, however, the atmosphere was anything but calm.

Within the first few minutes, most Genins had come to an uneasy realization: the test wasn't designed to be straightforward. The questions were deliberately challenging, far beyond what a typical Genin could reasonably solve on their own. The subtle hint in Ibiki's instructions—that cheating was allowed so long as one wasn't caught—began to sink in.

Whispers ceased as strategies unfolded. If cheating was the only path to success, then so be it. Each ninja started employing their unique methods, demonstrating the skills they had honed through years of training.

Neji activated his Byakugan, the veins around his eyes bulging as his advanced vision pierced through the room. He could see the test papers of multiple participants from across the room, reading their answers with precision.

Gaara used his sand to conjure a floating third eye, an extension of himself that moved silently through the air. The eye hovered near unsuspecting contestants, observing their papers before retreating back to Gaara, who calmly wrote down his answers.

Sasuke relied on his Sharingan. His crimson eyes glowed faintly as they tracked the subtle movements of another participant's hand, copying the strokes of their writing with uncanny accuracy. His technique was seamless, drawing no attention from the invigilators.

Each Genin employed their own tricks, displaying their creativity and skill under pressure. Techniques ranged from subtle hand signals between teammates to advanced ninjutsu and dojutsu, all tailored to gather answers without being caught.

The room buzzed with a tense energy, every contestant aware that one misstep could lead to disqualification. Meanwhile, the invigilators sat scattered throughout the room, their sharp eyes trained on the participants, ready to penalize anyone who slipped up.
