"Ice Release?"
Uchiha Fugaku raised an eyebrow, a look of surprise flashing across his face.
The man with the hideous scar, standing before him, turned out to be a member of the defected Snow Clan—a clan known for their unique Ice Release Kekkei Genkai.
However, after the initial surprise, Fugaku's lips curled into a faint smile. His hands blurred, forming seals so quickly they left afterimages.
"Ice Release: White Whale!"
From thin air, an enormous white whale formed, its icy body towering like a small mountain.
Compared to Fugaku's creation, the white whale summoned by the scarred man looked like a mere calf.
Snap!
The two whales collided mid-air, and the smaller whale shattered instantly. The larger whale continued its forward charge, roaring as it surged toward the scarred man.
"How can you… use Ice Release?" the scarred man stammered, his wide eyes filled with disbelief.
The Ice Release Kekkei Genkai was a signature trait of his Snow Clan. To his knowledge, no outsider could possibly possess it—let alone wield it with such devastating power.
But there was no time for answers. The massive white whale barreled forward, threatening to crush him beneath its enormous weight.
Snapping out of his daze, the man slammed his hands onto the ground.
"Ice Release: Ice Gate!"
A massive, thick wall of ice surged upward, forming a protective barrier before him.
Bang!
The colossal white whale slammed into the ice wall with a deafening roar.
Crack!
The ice gate trembled as cracks spread across its surface, spiderwebbing outward. A moment later, the gate shattered with a loud crash.
Though the whale's icy body was weakened, it remained intact and continued its relentless advance.
Boom!
The whale smashed into the scarred man, sending him flying backward. Blood spurted from his mouth as he landed heavily on the ground.
Only then did the massive whale disintegrate into a cascade of icy fragments.
One attack.
That was all it took for Uchiha Fugaku to overpower the elite jonin-level scarred man, breaking through both his offensive and defensive techniques and leaving him gravely injured.
This was the raw power of Fugaku's Ice Release Kekkei Genkai.
With this bloodline ability alone, Fugaku had reached Kage-level strength, a feat that shocked any who dared challenge him.
The scarred man coughed up more blood, his hands trembling as he tried to sit up.
"How… do you have my Snow Clan's Ice Release Kekkei Genkai?" he asked, his voice weak but laced with confusion and disbelief.
Fugaku, however, didn't respond.
Instead, he turned toward the weathered middle-aged man, who was already charging at him from the side, his right fist encased in thick, jagged rock.
Boom!
The rock fist roared through the air, heading straight for Fugaku.
The middle-aged man moved with practiced precision, his years of combat experience evident in every step. Even though Fugaku's Ice Release had shocked him, he didn't hesitate to strike.
"Ice Release: Ice Prison Technique."
As the massive fist approached, Fugaku calmly turned toward the incoming attack, completing a series of seals with lightning speed.
In an instant, the ground beneath the middle-aged man erupted with freezing cold air.
Snap!
Before his fist could land, the man was encased in a massive, transparent block of ice. The prison shimmered in the sunlight, trapping its occupant in an unbreakable cage.
Fugaku's precision was absolute. His enemy's attack stopped mere inches away, unable to breach the icy barrier.
From the beginning of the battle, Fugaku had used only two techniques.
But those two techniques alone had been enough to severely injure one elite jonin and incapacitate another.
Though his enemies were powerful in their own right, they were no match for Fugaku's overwhelming strength.
"Ice Release: Ice Thorns."
Fugaku's expression turned cold as he stared at the trapped middle-aged man.
The air around the ice prison shimmered as sharp, meter-long ice thorns materialized, their tips glinting ominously.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
The thorns pierced through the prison, stabbing into the trapped man. His muffled screams echoed briefly before his body fell limp, blood seeping from countless wounds.
The scarred man, still on the ground, watched in horror as his companion was killed.
"Who are you? You can't be from the Snow Clan. How did you obtain our Ice Release Kekkei Genkai?" he demanded, his voice trembling.
Fugaku didn't answer. Instead, he gave the man a chilling smile, one that sent shivers down his spine.
"You… you must have stolen it!" the scarred man accused. His anger flared, though it was tinged with fear.
"If I'm going to die here, I won't let you go unscathed!"
With that, he slammed his hands onto the ground.
"Ice Release: Ice Spikes!"
Cold air surged into the ground before exploding upward.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
Massive ice spikes erupted from the earth, dozens of them stabbing toward Fugaku like spears.
"Ice Release: Ice Gate."
Fugaku countered with a technique of his own.
A towering wall of ice rose before him. Unlike the scarred man's earlier attempt, Fugaku's gate was larger and far sturdier, gleaming with steel-like hardness.
The spikes struck the gate.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Despite the force behind the attack, the spikes shattered on impact, unable to penetrate the icy barrier.
Snap!
The gate parted, creating an opening just wide enough for Fugaku to step through.
He emerged on the other side, his gaze cold and piercing. The scarred man visibly trembled, his defiance replaced by sheer terror.
"Ice Release: Ice Time Rain."
The air around Fugaku chilled as countless icicles formed above him, hovering like a cloud of frozen daggers.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The icicles rained down, a deadly storm that gave the scarred man no time to react.
"Ice Release: Ice Gate!"
In desperation, the scarred man summoned another ice barrier.
But it was futile.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
The icicles tore through the gate as if it were paper, piercing the man's body.
Blood pooled beneath him as he collapsed to the ground, his wide eyes staring blankly at the sky.
Fugaku stood over his fallen enemy, his expression calm and unreadable.
Two elite jonin had fallen before him, their strength no match for his Ice Release Kekkei Genkai.
