“Luo Zheng, you… ”
“Ah, am I disturbing you two?”
Xi Mubai was suffering from heartache and he was just about to ask something.
All of a sudden, a crisp and clear male voice sounded from behind them and disrupted their conversation!
He looked over to see that the man had an abyss-like gaze. He frowned and asked, “Mr. Bo?”
At the next moment, Luo Zheng pushed Xi Mubai forcefully, causing him to stumble backwards and almost fall onto the ground.
By the time he regained his balance, he glanced at her.
Luo Zheng was at a complete loss over what to do and she was no longer shrewd. She started behaving like a child, and more like… a cheating wife who had been caught by her husband.
It was a hallucination, it must be a hallucination!
She smiled radiantly and said in a pleasing manner, “No, no, not at all! Brother Cheng, what are you doing here?”
Ah!
Luo Zheng had no idea why but she somehow began to feel guilty.
When she sensed that he was staring at her coldly, she initially thought that she was imagining it… but she did not expect to hear the crisp and loud voice from behind. She turned around and was greeted with the sight of his handsome face.
She then subconsciously realized that she was in an ambiguous position with Xi Mubai, that seemed provocative and hence, quickly pushed him away.
After pushing him away, she suddenly wondered, what was I afraid of?
Yeah, I should be afraid that Mr. Bodyguard would get the wrong idea… After all, Xi Mubai and I are enemies and things would get troublesome if we are mistaken to be lovers!
Luo Zheng could not think of any other reason for her guilt.
Bo Hancheng was standing near them and glancing at the two of them. He thought about how close they were standing together, so much that they even kissed.
He felt a sudden ache in his heart, as if he suddenly became empty and full of angst.
However, he still remained calm on the surface.
He then strode forwards and walked towards Luo Zheng. “Why? Am I not supposed to be here?” he questioned coldly.
Luo Zheng’s heart almost jumped out of her chest and she somehow felt fearful while staring at him, causing her body to shiver.
It seemed like she had suddenly returned to the moment where he killed someone in front of her. Actually… he looked even more terrifying than he did when he was killing!
“No, no, no… no!”
As soon as Luo Zheng finished speaking, she realized that she was spluttering incoherently.
Damn it, what’s wrong with me? Why am I being afraid!?!
“Hah, are you feeling cold?”
Bo Hancheng asked gently while standing in front of Luo Zheng.
“No, no, no… not at all!”
Luo Zheng frantically answered, wishing she could cry.
Why did I start stuttering? This is so, so so so… so embarrassing!
Bo Hancheng glanced at Luo Zheng and scanned her from head to toe. “You’re shivering so much and you still say that you’re not cold?”
Luo Zheng was rather stunned and she began to give it some serious thought. Am I really feeling cold? Is that why I’m shivering and spluttering!?!
She nodded and answered incoherently, “Yeah… I do feel a little cold!”
As soon as she finished speaking, she noticed that his arms were open and tempting her. “If you’re cold, why don’t I hug you?”
Hey, why is Mr. Bodyguard suddenly so gentle? I’m not used to this at all!
Luo Zheng’s eyes were glistening like stars and she leaped into his embrace. She praised, “Brother Cheng, you’re so great!”
He hugged her tightly and felt like his heart was pieced together again. He no longer felt cold and empty.
Darkness was the only thing left.
Hah, little imp, it’s only been a while and you almost left with someone else. You’re really disloyal… seems like I’ve been too lenient with her and it’s time I take her in hand!
