She also noticed Rong Shaoze’s nervousness; he was probably worried that she would misunderstand.
So when he asked her to accompany him to take Fang Fang home, she didn’t hesitate and agreed right away.
After delivering Fang Fang home and on the way back, Rong Shaoze confessed the intentions of his mother without being asked and vowed to make clear his true feelings, fearing that Lin Xinlan might overthink.
Lin Xinlan looked at him and smiled faintly, "Rong Shaoze, actually, you don’t have to explain so much to me... I trust you."
