Sophie moved with difficulty, walking to the bedside, and took the quilt to wrap Eva’s body tightly.
"I really didn’t expect you to be such a bastard!" Sophie felt a deep sense of despair, Eva was her best friend, so pure, so kind, how could he do such a thing?
"Don’t come near me!" Sophie stood up in defiance, keeping a distance from him.
"Things aren’t what you think, I was really drunk, I don’t know what happened, when I woke up, she was beside me."
"Enough!" Do I even need to say it? The facts are right in front of us, please leave here immediately now!"
The distance was evident in her body language and tone, Asher knew that no matter what he said now, she wouldn’t listen.
He changed his clothes, and she kept her face turned away, without any eye contact with him.
He had no choice but to turn and leave.
Sophie looked at Eva on the bed, tears streaming down her face.
"Eva, I’m sorry, I’m sorry..." Sophie sat on the edge of the bed, her voice close to choking.
"Sophie?" Eva opened her eyes with some difficulty, rubbing her aching head, "What’s wrong with you? Why are you crying?"
She sat up from the bed and looked at her ~exposed body, suddenly her eyes widened, she looked at Sophie in disbelief, and Sophie shook her head in guilt.
"Sophie, this, this, what happened? I only remember drinking too much, and then, and then,..." Eva’s words were incoherent, Sophie hugged her tightly.
"Eva, don’t think about it, it’s okay, it’s okay."
She helped Eva get dressed, she really didn’t know what else to say to comfort Eva, Eva was very dejected, saying nothing.
"I’ll take you back to school."
Sophie supported Eva out of the hotel together and hailed a taxi on the roadside.
Asher sat in the car, watching them leave, and punched the steering wheel hard.
Sophie sent Eva back to school, it was already late, Eva wanted her to stay overnight at the school, but Isabella’s unfriendly gaze was fixed on her.
"Eva, let her go back wherever she should go, how can the big star stay in such a shabby student dormitory?" Isabella was clearly issuing an eviction order.

She painfully crouched down, holding her head, unable to stop sobbing.
She couldn’t understand why her tears were flowing, maybe because Eva was her best friend, or maybe because Asher had slept with her best friend, she knew Asher might have countless women, but why did it have to be Eva?
Hearing someone call her name, she looked up through tear-blurred eyes, the man in front of her, she felt she had seen him somewhere before, but couldn’t recall at the moment.
"I’m Luke Land, Asher’s second brother, we met in his office."
"I know you are Asher’s woman, but you won’t have an outcome, you know?"
Ha, how ridiculous, she knew this well enough, was it worth him coming specially to remind her?
"I know what you mean, you want me to leave him, right?" She gave a cold laugh, "When he’s tired of playing, he’ll naturally let me go, so you don’t have to worry."
"I want you to leave him willingly, you must leave him immediately."
