"You can’t touch me now!" She scooted to one side of the bed, her guard up like never before.
"I won’t touch you." He put on an innocent face, "I just want to warm the bed for you."
Warm the bed? Sophie Smith’s eyes widened in disbelief. Letting Big Boss Land warm the bed, how could she dare?
His big hand touched her cold skin, and he couldn’t help but frown.
He sat up and began unbuttoning his shirt one by one.
"Are you sure you’re only warming the bed?" Somehow, she felt things weren’t that simple!
"Yes, warming the bed, not doing anything else," he said, word by word.
His firm and hot body pressed against her, but Sophie froze. She didn’t want to move around because she knew even the slightest move from her might inflame him.
He took one of her small hands and placed it on his chest.
Indeed, Sophie instantly felt her hand warm up. The feeling was so comfortable that she put her other hand there too.
Soon after, she held him tight.
The two of them, one like ice, the other like fire, unexpectedly found such a harmonious moment.
She buried her head in his neck, as if it could warm her more.
Like a little wildcat, she rubbed against his neck, and her faint feminine scent wafted up his nose, constantly challenging his limits of endurance.
She felt his body’s stiffness and the obvious masculine reaction, as if she realized something, she quickly removed her hands from his chest.
He flipped over, pinning her under him.
"You promised, no doing anything." Her face turned beet red, her small hands pressing against his chest forcefully.
Resist! Resist! Resist!
His thin lips covered hers, skillfully kissing her sensitive spots.
Her body shivered as if a current passed through it, causing her to tremble uncontrollably.
"Do you want it?" He was all too familiar with her body’s reactions.
"Asher Land, don’t... "
"Don’t what?" His lips curled in a smug grin, "Move a little, it’ll warm up faster, right?"
He was clearly doing it on purpose!
And so, under the pretense of ’warming the bed for her,’ he enjoyed her thoroughly.
He hesitated but finally eased into her body slowly, being particularly gentle this time, afraid of hurting her.
The two lay on the bed, somewhat drained, falling asleep in each other’s arms.
Sophie Smith stayed at a large hospital in S City for two days before returning to Eastern City, and during those two days, Asher Land was practically glued to her side.
Robert Williams drove the car into the Land Family villa, and Nanny Garcia led a group of servants out to welcome them, resembling the grandeur of an emperor returning to the palace.
"Miss Smith, is your health better?" Nanny Garcia had heard from Robert Williams that Sophie had run into some trouble in S City, and she was quite worried.
"Much better, Nanny Garcia, you don’t need to worry about me."
