Nanny Garcia hesitantly took a bottle of red wine from the cellar and placed it in front of Asher Land.
Sophie Smith continued eating her food from the plate, without even lifting her eyelids.

"Young Master, did I take the wrong one?" Nanny Garcia saw Asher’s solemn expression and asked anxiously.
"No," Asher calmly twisted the cork back on, "I just won’t drink it."
Nanny Garcia glanced at Sophie in surprise. Undoubtedly, the young master’s change was entirely because of Sophie—she had never expected the young master would be willing to change his years-long hobby and habit for a woman. While he might not change completely, at least he was trying.
He didn’t know why he suddenly did this. It was as if he was bewitched, taking her words to heart. For her, he was willing to change anything.
After finishing her meal, Sophie looked at the weather outside and felt instantly uplifted. The weather had been quite gloomy and cold for a while, but today miraculously brought a warm sun. So she decided to take a walk in the garden.

"I’ve decided to return to Europe. I’ll leave in a couple of days."
Asher’s eyes froze. Clearly, he hadn’t expected Irene to suddenly say this.
"Why not stay in Eastern City a bit longer?"
Stay? One needs company to stay, right? In his eyes, there was only Sophie; where would there be room for her?
"No, I don’t want to interrupt you and Sister Sophie," Irene’s voice was calm, unlike her previously lively tone, making Asher naturally feel guilty. Perhaps he really had neglected Irene during this period.
"How about I take you out for some fun tomorrow?"
"No need." From her tone, they seemed to be bickering again. "Don’t force yourself, you just focus on being with Sister Sophie."
After speaking, Irene went ’clomp clomp’ up the stairs.
Asher sighed helplessly. Nanny Garcia was smart enough to detect some clues.
"Young Master, Miss Irene’s feelings for you seem not quite like those of a sister towards her brother..."
"Not like a sister towards her brother? What else could it be?" Asher was indifferent. "To me, she’s just my sister."
Nanny Garcia couldn’t tell if her young master was genuinely oblivious or was pretending to be. He’s always been a clever person; how could he not see such a simple thing?
Asher didn’t say anything more and strode toward Sophie.
