"Since Brother Asher, you don’t want me to get involved, I won’t bother then, I have no interest in worrying about it!" Irene tossed the prepared menu on the table, pouting and looking unhappy.
He didn’t quite know why he couldn’t control his emotions. Indeed, his temper seemed to be getting worse. Seeing her aggrieved look, Asher softened a bit, thought for a moment, then added.
"If you’re not busy lately, you can help me prepare. I’m just afraid of troubling you."
