Just like that, Sophie Smith and Eva Miller kept taking turns to care for Christopher Smith. About two days later, Christopher began to regain consciousness.
He woke up and saw Sophie, unable to hold back his tears.

She spent the whole morning chatting with Christopher, and for once, he laughed heartily.
In the afternoon, Oliver Johnson came over.

"Dad, this is Oliver Johnson. Mr. Johnson, you were lucky to have his help during your illness. He found you the best hospital and doctor."

"No need for thanks, I’m a friend of Miss Smith’s, so it was only right for me to help."
Oliver Johnson truly embodied gentlemanly grace, so polite and courteous, speaking as gently as water, without the airs some wealthy heirs tend to have. Compared to a certain someone, he’s so much better.
Christopher and Oliver got along well, engrossed in conversation, leaving Sophie sidelined.
"Mr. Johnson, what do you think of my Little Sophie?" Christopher suddenly asked.
Sophie felt a slight unease, a bit nervous as she looked at Oliver, wondering why Christopher suddenly asked such a question.
"Miss Smith is very beautiful, considerate, and has a great personality..."
Oliver’s words made her feel a little embarrassed.
"Yes, our Little Sophie is both graceful and skilled in the kitchen - a perfect match for you, Mr. Johnson..."
