"Sophie, you’ve really got some nerve, locking your own man outside?" Outside the door, it was Asher Land’s voice, gritting with anger.
Sophie Smith’s mouth twitched, looking awkwardly at Oliver Johnson.
"Oh, it’s President Land," Oliver Johnson chuckled lightly, "Are you always this playful?"
Sophie forced a bitter smile, how was she being playful? In Asher Land’s eyes, this was probably downright rebellious.
"Mr. Johnson, my woman refuses to open the door for me. You’re a fair man, please open the door for me," Asher Land’s voice came again from outside after a short while.
Oliver Johnson shrugged at her and went to open the door.
Sophie almost instinctively ran to the master bedroom and shut the door. She admitted, she was hiding from him.
However, this action seemed all too telling to Asher Land. If she had no guilty conscience, why was she unwilling to see him?
"President Land, ..."
"Mr. Johnson, you don’t need to say anything."

"Sophie, come out!" he shouted impatiently from the doorway.
Naturally, Sophie ignored him, thinking, with Oliver Johnson here, he probably wouldn’t do anything too excessive, right?
But, she was really mistaken.
Not receiving a response from her, Asher Land kicked the door open.
He really was a madman.
"Are you relying on someone backing you up that you’ve gotten so bold?"
Oliver Johnson stood behind them, watching their tense standoff, unable to interject anything.
"Weren’t you saying not long ago that if I didn’t touch you for a few months, you’d obediently listen to me? Well, I haven’t seen your sincerity," he sneered, curling his lips, "Are you playing me?"
"I’m not," Sophie said helplessly, "It’s not what you think."
Asher Land glanced back at Oliver Johnson, who only gave a slight, unbothered smile. Watching them argue so intensely, he seemed to have no interest in explaining, perhaps relishing the thought of seeing them break up.
Asher Land stopped questioning and leisurely sat down on the sofa.
A fragrance wafted over from the kitchen, reaching his nose.
Turns out, she could cook. Ever since they were together, he barely saw her in the kitchen. This realization sent an uncomfortable pang through him. Although being Asher Land’s woman, not cooking was expected, there was still the question of why she was cooking now with Oliver Johnson?
Sophie stood by the sofa at a distance, but Asher Land, with his long arms, pulled her onto his lap, making her sit down.
The action couldn’t be more intimate.
He certainly saw a flicker of discomfort cross Oliver Johnson’s face.
"Mr. Johnson, I don’t know where your relationship with Sophie stands, but I can tell you some things about her, to help you understand each other better," Asher Land began casually.
Sophie was baffled, what game was Asher Land playing now?
"For two people to be together, first of all, their sex life needs to be harmonious, right?" He raised his attractive lips, speaking each word clearly, "At first, she was quite inexperienced in bed, but don’t worry, after my training, she’s made great progress. She’ll make you very comfortable."
Sophie gave Asher Land a fierce pinch on the waist. Dammit! He must be crazy to say something like that in front of others.
