Sophie Smith felt that time was passing incredibly slowly, yet Asher Land seemed not to have come back to his senses from the news she shared. Perhaps, the impact of this matter was truly too great for him.
"If you don’t want the child, I’ll get rid of it." Her weak voice suddenly came through, in the past, she was determined to keep the child even if she had to leave Asher Land, but now...
She loved Asher Land, even if she couldn’t keep the child, she wanted to stay by his side.
She truly felt she was being foolish.

"Of course, why wouldn’t I?" He smiled, looking at her with overwhelming affection.
"Asher Land, you must tell me the truth, are you just humoring me, are you actually angry with me?"
"Silly lady, I have a child now, I’m too happy to be angry, how could I be mad?" He lightly tapped her nose, "No more overthinking, just focus on having a healthy pregnancy."
"Okay." Her lips finally softened a bit, she stood on tiptoe, planting a kiss on his lips.
Asher Land stayed in the hospital for a week for recovery, then insisted on getting discharged. He didn’t like lying bored in bed all day, nor the pungent smell of medicine.
When discharging from the hospital, Sophie did not call Robert Williams, she decided she would personally take Asher Land home.
She deftly packed his luggage and then helped him change out of the hospital gown.
