The driver’s face showed some panic, unable to stop shivering under the low pressure from Asher Land.

In the hall, all the servants were on edge, just hoping Sophie Smith would return home quickly, or else the young master would tear down the villa.
It was uncertain how much time had passed when Nanny Garcia noticed a car stopping outside the villa.
"Young master, it seems Miss Smith is back..." Nanny Garcia was about to go out to greet her but was stopped by him.

"I’m not blind, did I miss seeing you come in?" he snorted coldly.

Sophie Smith reflexively stepped back, tripped on a fruit that had fallen from the table, stumbled, but thankfully Asher Land was quick to catch her.
He shook his head helplessly, picked her up, and headed upstairs.
"Don’t make noise!" His mood was quite bad.
The servants raised their heads, watching Sophie Smith being carried upstairs by Asher Land, their eyes filled with sympathy.
"Nanny Garcia, will Miss Smith be alright? The young master was so angry, might he take it out on Miss Smith?"
"How could anything happen?" Nanny Garcia sighed, "The young master is just worried about Miss Smith; no matter how angry, it won’t reach her."

Sophie Smith sat on the bed, her eyes somewhat frantic, staring at the man standing over her, scrutinizing her from above.
"Who did you have dinner with tonight?"
"Eva and Oliver Johnson."
"Why didn’t you return my calls?"
"Didn’t you say the phone has radiation, and you didn’t want me to touch it? So I kept it off and carried it with me. I didn’t know you called!" Sophie Smith answered truthfully.
"So even this late, you hadn’t thought to turn it on and make a call to me?"
