Then, Naoki began experimenting with frying grass, spicy grass, Steamed Green Grass, and any cooking method he could think of.
However, the results were consistently unsatisfactory.

This was a very special dish.
In a game he played in his previous life, if players fed the Green Grass Cake to the little characters they were raising, and then had them tend to the crops in their farm.
The crops taken care of by the little characters would produce slight mutations.
Naoki recalled the cake-making process in his mind and began trying his hand at it.
First, he used the juicer to crush the grass, then got a suitable amount of cake flour, added vegetable oil, the crushed grass paste, and three fresh egg yolks.

Once the two mixtures were fully combined, he poured them into a cake mold and put it in the oven to bake for 55 minutes.
Naoki hoped for the cooking effect as he sat in his chair, and after a long wait, with a ’ding,’ the cake was ready.
