"Yes," I nodded, and she started her lecture with a smile.

Finished speaking, she stopped for a few moments before once more parting her lips.
"A person starts from PHASE 8, and he or she can advance to his or her said potential, like you being the PHASE [0]—DEMIGOD. Every PHASE except PHASE[0] has three subranks: Lesser, Master, and Expert.

Hearing me, her poker face flustered.

"I love you," I repeated my words with a smile. I didn't know about love, but I am certain about one thing. I like this girl before me.
"I love you too," She replied with a soft smile—that made my heart beat faster—while reeling in her flustered expression.
