Bai Xuanmo felt much better after Zhi’er stroked him soothingly.
He then walked up to Ke Shouwang and began to bully him with cold sarcasm.
Ke Shouwang, furious, clenched his fists. He tried to endure, but ultimately, Bai Xuanmo’s provocation made him snap back.
Watching the two of them argue, Zhi’er shrugged her little hands helplessly and shook her head.
Just as she popped a piece of candy into her mouth, she caught sight of the brown sugar that had dropped onto the ground, now surrounded by a swarm of ants.
Not far from the brown sugar, there was a small hole in the ground.
Ants continuously crawled out, gathering around the candy block.
Zhi’er stepped over with her little feet and squatted down to watch the ants carry the sugar.
Over there, Bai Xuanmo and Ke Shouwang’s dispute had escalated in volume.
Bai Xuanmo sneered coldly, "What kind of person loses something their grandmother gave them? Ke Shouwang, come to my pharmacy, I’ll check your brain."

Suddenly, at this moment, Zhi’er’s soft, sweet voice rang out—
"What does your Jade Pendant look like? Is it purple and long?"
Ke Shouwang was stunned, "How does the Princess know?"
Before Zhi’er could answer, he suddenly realized!
Ke Shouwang stared at Bai Xuanmo intently, "The Eldest Heir took my Jade Pendant and hid it, just wanting to watch me worry here?!"

Ke Shouwang looked over at Zhi’er.

Ke Shouwang took a swift step over, excitedly saying, "I actually found it!"
Zhi’er softly said, "It was at the little ants’ home, I just saw a bit of the Red Rope sticking out and tried to pull it out."
Ke Shouwang was almost in tears with joy, "Princess, you truly are my benefactor, thank goodness it was found, otherwise it would have been bad."
Zhi’er squinted her eyes with a smile, stretched out her small hand, and gently patted the back of his hand, "Dear grandson, wipe your tears, don’t cry, don’t cry."
Ke Shouwang, not fully understanding, nodded gratefully, "Yes!"
He wiped away his tears.
Suddenly, he stiffened, realizing something was amiss.
Ke Shouwang blushed and cleared his throat lightly, "Last time, I fell under the Eldest Heir’s trap which caused hallucinations, wrongly recognizing the Princess. Your Highness, please don’t take it seriously."
"Alright, dear grandson~"
"What I mean is, please don’t call me dear grandson!"
With her bright eyes, Zhi’er pointed to a nearby shop, "Time to fulfill your promise and buy candy to make it up to me."
Ke Shouwang put the Jade Pendant away, hesitated not a bit, and immediately went to buy three bags of candy to thank Zhi’er.
