Then his gaze shifted to Julian Hawthorne, signaling for him to comfort her, since he was the one who made her cry.
Julian swallowed hard, just about to step forward when Winnie Winslow grabbed his hand.
"Nina, stop crying all the time, your tears aren’t pearls, the more you cry, the more you look like a pig!"
Nina gritted her teeth in hatred, "You..."
Just as she said one word, Winnie interrupted her again: "My husband is the victim today, he didn’t cry, so why are you crying? I think you’re just feeling guilty, trying to use suicide to confuse everyone!"
Winnie’s words hit the nail on the head, and Nina stepped back two steps in guilt, "I didn’t."
