When the topic of their daughter came up, Sebastian Blackwood’s deep eyes darkened, a barely noticeable pain spreading from his heart.
He gently kissed Ivy Kensington’s cheek as if to comfort her and said in a low voice, "I will go find our daughter."
"But... what if you can’t find her..."
Ivy mumbled the question.
Just like how Evan Lowell hid her back then, he kept her hidden for so long.
If Claire Crowley really made up her mind to hide someone, no matter what means she employed, the world was so big, it would ultimately be impossible to find that person.
If she couldn’t be found...
Sebastian’s sharp brows furrowed, a determined ruthlessness emanating from him.
He answered in a deep voice, "Then we’ll just acknowledge Ronnie as our only daughter."
He would never tolerate Claire using their daughter as an excuse to threaten him.
It would be better to tear away his own concern for their daughter; Claire would realize she couldn’t threaten him, naturally become anxious, and then compromise, ultimately leading him to find their daughter.
But his words were like a sharp sword, piercing Ivy’s heart deeply.
How could he say something like that?
Ronnie was their daughter, but so was their other daughter, who was only two months old. How could he be so heartless?
Ivy’s throat felt as though it were filled with blades, causing incessant pain, leaving her speechless.

His voice was cold, but his words were imbued with the importance he placed on this wedding.
In the past, he had weddings with Nina Shaw and Claire Crowley, but none were ones he genuinely cared about.
Only this time with Ivy was something he earnestly prepared for.
This was the wedding he owed Ivy from the past; his woman deserved nothing but the best.
Having been by Sebastian’s side for so many years, Owen naturally understood how important this wedding was to him and nodded without a hint of negligence, "Yes, Master Blackwood."
After hanging up the phone, he returned to the room.
On the oversized bed, Ivy’s presence took up only a small space. She lay with her back to him, lost in thought.
Sebastian took the initiative to pull her into his embrace, holding her waist tight.
But Ivy felt cold all over, a chill spreading through her limbs and bones.
She couldn’t be as cold-hearted as Sebastian. Just thinking about their daughter, not knowing her whereabouts at this moment, made her heart ache painfully.
He said if they couldn’t find their daughter, they’d act as if she was never born, but how could she possibly do that!
Their daughter was the only comfort she had during those dark days of pregnancy, how could she possibly forget now...
The next day at noon.
Having not slept well the night before, Ivy’s condition was quite poor, with faint dark circles under her eyes.
Owen waited for her downstairs, and when he saw her coming down, he walked over, full of smiles.
"Today, Master Blackwood specifically asked me to take you to try on wedding dresses."
What Owen didn’t mention was that the wedding dresses to be tried on today were meticulously selected by Sebastian from Z Designer’s works, each one carefully chosen.
Sebastian spent an entire morning, even postponing the morning meeting for it.
In all of Owen’s years with Sebastian, it was the first time he’d seen him postpone a meeting for a woman, leaving him utterly astonished.
Never imagined there would be a day Master Blackwood would go to such lengths!
