At that moment, Nami's attention was entirely captivated by the golden brick in Peter's hand.
She didn't even notice the women sitting around him, who were staring at her with strange, angry, and astonished expressions.
Nami's bright brown eyes lit up with a golden gleam, and she thought to herself:
"That much gold must be worth at least tens of millions of Berries. If I can get my hands on it, I'll easily have enough to buy my village's freedom."
Nami believed that the goal she had been dreaming of for years was now within reach, and her eyes filled with fierce determination.
But while she burned with fighting spirit and considered the gold brick as already hers, the other women at the table were not pleased.

She pointed at Nami in shock and shouted:
"You! You little thieving cat, Nami?!"
Carina never expected to run into someone she knew on her first day back in the East Blue.
When Nami heard the familiar voice, she looked up at once, stunned:
"Carina? What are you doing here, you sly fox?"

Nami panicked at the thought of her identity being exposed—her plan to steal the gold could fall apart.
Furious, she let go of Peter's arm, jumped away, and stormed toward Carina.
At the same time, Carina rolled up her sleeves and stepped forward without fear.
What Zoro and the others saw was: two women clashing, heads colliding.
Nami: "Every time I run into you, disaster follows! Can't you just disappear from my life?!"
Carina: "Ha! That's my line. How dare you go after my gold? Believe it or not, I'll have you arrested and handed over to the Marines!"
Nami: "Really? You think you can catch me?"

She flipped her hair proudly, returned to her seat, snuggled up to Peter again, and wrapped her arms around his in a flirtatious manner.
Then, she looked down on Nami and waved dismissively:
"I don't want to eat at the same table as her. Just seeing her ruins my appetite."
Nami: "What did you say?!"
She was about to explode, but then she spotted Zoro, Usopp, and the others approaching in the distance—and held her tongue.
Nami (forced calm): "Hmph, my crew's here. I'll let you off this time. But we'll settle this later."
She then winked at Peter, touched her lips with her fingertips, and blew him a kiss:
"Handsome, if you change your mind—I'm at the next table."
Turning toward her crew, she grabbed them before they could say a word.
"Hmph!" Carina stuck out her tongue behind Nami's back, then feigned sadness, her eyes shimmering with tears:
"Mr. Peter, you wouldn't abandon obedient little Karina and fall for a tacky girl like her, would you?"
Peter (coldly): "Hmm... maybe."
All the girls rolled their eyes at the same time.
"This guy is unbearable!"
Carina was about to join Vivi in scolding Peter, when a new voice shouted from the staircase to the second floor:
"Who ordered all this food? If no one's eating, I will—Oh! Five, five, five! Five beautiful angels!"
The girls turned to the voice and saw a blond-haired figure with spiraled eyebrows and a heart drawn on his chest, dashing toward them like a tornado.
The strange man made all the girls frown and brace themselves.
Mikita grabbed the umbrella next to her and was about to strike, but suddenly paused.
Mikita: "Wait, wait... you're coming for me, aren't you?! Get back to your room and burn off your energy on a magazine, you creep!"
Another shout echoed from the staircase as a man in a chef's outfit and tall hat leaped out.
Before Sanji could advance further, he was kicked hard and sent rolling back.
But Sanji quickly got back up, his face twisted in shock as he yelled:
"Why'd you kick me, old man?! I haven't even done anything yet!"
