Chapter 7 - recovery -05
The next day, early in the morning.
With a soft rustle, Peter was the first to step out of the tent, shirtless, revealing several faint red marks and a few scratches on his back.He stretched under the morning sun, feeling refreshed.
"Hah~ Incredible~ So this is how sex feels! Such healing for the body and soul. If I'd known it'd be like this, I'd have ditched my hand instantly and gone after the real thing."
"Now I possess immense strength, beauty that warms cold nights, and vast wealth—things I never even dreamed of having in my past life."
"Well, I did imagine having them... but imagination and reality are two different things."
While Peter sighed inwardly in gratitude, he heard a sound again from the tent. Moments later, Robin stepped out.
She still wore yesterday's clothes, and except for her flushed skin and the bite marks on her neck, she looked no different from when they'd first met—save for a faint weariness.
"Don't you want to sleep a bit longer? We had a long day yesterday."
He added calmly,"If you don't rest for a while, your body might not be able to handle it."
Robin chuckled lightly,"It's alright. I've regained my energy, thanks to you."
Though her words sounded like gratitude, Peter felt there was something more beneath them.
"Right..."
Just two simple words, and then Peter fell silent, staring ahead as if lost in thought.
"Cold-hearted man." Robin noted inwardly with detachment. Though she expected this, Peter's attitude brought her a brief moment of disappointment.
But that feeling came and went just as quickly.After years of running, Robin had grown used to the law of the strong dominating the weak.
She had mentally prepared herself for this a long time ago, yet nothing had happened for years—until she met Peter.
With a light sigh and a shake of her head to clear her thoughts, she picked up her bag, ready to move on.
After a night of mating, discomfort lingered throughout her body, and all she wanted was to find a place to bathe.
Meanwhile, Peter—still in a slight daze—was evaluating his state.
As he suspected, even though he didn't have any children yet and no real progress was made in reviving the Saiyan bloodline,his generous system had rewarded him for his efforts.
His combat power had increased from 15 to 19 points—a four-point gain.
Although it didn't sound like much, that was a significant leap for him at this stage.
"I came eight times last night, and my battle power increased by four points. That means each ejaculation gives me half a battle point."
"At this rate, if I had a month, I might become unstoppable in the pirate world."
Still, he wasn't sure if his body could withstand such daily effort as yesterday.
He wondered whether Saiyans had some kind of advantage in this area too.
Despite his worries, Peter felt fine today—relaxed even—so there shouldn't be much of a problem.
Additionally, his first-time experience had unlocked advanced Ki techniques specific to Saiyan bloodlines.
He closed his eyes and focused on the new skill, trying to sense Robin's presence. Sure enough, he felt a faint breath not far away.
"If I can combine Ki sensing with Observation Haki, that would be incredibly powerful."
After all, there's no rule saying Observation Haki can't detect androids—and Ki sensing had a wider range than Haki ever could.
Peter opened his eyes in satisfaction.After finalizing his plans for the future, he turned toward the sound of water and laundry and joined Robin in her task.
He had no other clothes besides what he wore, and he didn't want to wear pirate outfits—so laundry it was.
After about ten minutes, the two of them sat once again by the fire, long since extinguished.
He glanced at Robin, who was now covered modestly by a blanket and only wearing her underclothes, and asked:
"You came here for the ruins, didn't you? Want me to explore them with you? Sounds interesting."
Robin silently shook her head and looked at the handsome rascal beside her. In a soft tone, she replied:
"No, I took a quick look while washing clothes. The ruins seem fake—probably no more than 60 or 70 years old."
"The reason is simple: no one has lived here for a long time, so moss and vines have spread everywhere."
"Compared to that, I'm more interested in what you said about the Saiyans."
"As the heroine who helped you preserve your bloodline, I think you won't mind explaining this rare race to me."
"You really are..." Peter paused for a moment. This woman was obsessed with knowledge.
They had just shared a night together, and she jumped straight into asking questions without changing her expression.
That's exactly why Peter liked mature women.
Of course, teenage girls had their merits too.And since choosing between them would upset many people, Peter—as an ambassador of peace—decided to unite them both into a grand alliance.
"The Saiyans~ All I can say is that we're a warrior race. But for some reason, we gradually faced extinction. Over time, I became the only one left."
Robin pulled out a pen and paper, ready to take notes about this race.
But after hearing just two sentences from Peter, she frowned with clear dissatisfaction and asked:
"What else? Where did you live? What are your customs? And why are you the only one left? I spent hours with you last night, and all I got were two sentences. I'll be angry if that's all."
"Pfft...! You're amazing! You didn't get mad when we were... busy, but now you're upset because I didn't tell you the Saiyan secret?"
"Are all scholars like you—unable to distinguish between what's important and what's not?"
Peter couldn't understand Robin's way of thinking, but he also respected it.
"Alright then—if you give me a child, I'll tell you all the secrets of the Saiyans."
"I'll give you just one hint for now—this is where our home planet lies."
And Peter pointed toward the sky with a mysterious expression.
