One Piece: I Awakened King Ghidorah At the Start Chapter 45

Holy Land Mary Geoise, at the summit of the Red Line—a city of opulent architecture, a living masterpiece, and the very center of global power.

As the seat of world authority, Mary Geoise was defended with uncompromising security. Its walls and gates were guarded by heavily armed troops. Within its confines lived the descendants of "gods"—the Celestial Dragons.

---

On an ordinary day beneath serene skies, the guards of Mary Geoise patrolled lazily as usual.

One such guard was Arthur (OC), a veteran of five years standing watch over Mary Geoise's city walls. He had mastered one rule:

Mind your post. Don't meddle. Don't look.

Loyal on duty, steady through the month—five insurances, housing fund—life was tranquil and comfortable.

He stood faithfully at his station—until something far off caught his eye.

---

A tiny black speck appeared on the horizon, like a bird in the distance. As it drew nearer, curiosity stirred in him. He lifted the telescope from his chest—and his face went pale.

Flesh crawling with goosebumps, scalp tingling. The black shape grew into a three-headed monstrosity. Horror gripped his breath.

---

He stumbled back to the guard tower, scrambling for the Den Den Mushi.

---

"No… no… this is bad! A monster is flying toward Mary Geoise!"

---

His screech echoed through the device.

Within moments, a squad of guards surrounded their captain at the tower. Their eyes widened at the horrifying sight approaching.

---

"W-what is that…?!"

"A flying Sea King??"

They stared in terror at the golden three-headed beast drawing ever closer. All ability to think vanished—none even remembered how to sound the alarm.

---

Finally, fully realizing the threat, the captain shouted down to the streets:

"Enemy attack! Intruders incoming!"

---

An instant later, alarms blared across Mary Geoise, shattering its peaceful calm.

The streets filled with panicked civilians fleeing in every direction.

---

Inside the Pangea Castle, however, the Celestial Dragons paid no heed.

In their eyes, no one could penetrate their sacred city. Anyone approaching would be eliminated long before reaching Mary Geoise proper.

---

Outside, a gale erupted—rising swiftly into a hurricane.

Guards pressed themselves tightly against the city wall, eyes wide, as the golden beast neared.

Dust and sand whipped in its wake.

---

Without warning, the creature swept directly overhead, and an explosive rush of wind struck them. Buildings buckled, structures shredded. Reality shattered.

A series of sonic booms echoed. Then—pure blackness.

---

The beast soared toward the most grand towers of the castle, and as it flew—its sheer force, plus the sonic shockwaves and turbulence—sliced entire roofs and walls into ruin, leaving a trail of destruction.

Several Celestial Dragons standing at the palace gates were paralyzed with fear as havoc raged behind them. Some fainted; others trembled until they wet themselves.

A news tower immediately relayed the warning to the guard posts—with the first wave of reinforcements rushing in. When they arrived, they were stunned.

There, towering above the palace, stood a primal nightmare, leveling towers with the casual swipe of a hand. These beings were not mere beasts—they were ancient gods.

---

Word reached the World Government swiftly, and CP‑0 agents were dispatched at once. The cloistered Imu-sama, residing deepest within Pangea Castle, was immobilized upon hearing the report.

---

The Five Elders, alarmed from their power chambers, abandoned their comfort and assembled in haste.

The bald and blond Elders hurried to the outer walls—while the remaining three raced toward Pangea's inner sanctum.

This was no simple disturbance—it was a direct challenge to the World Government itself.

---

From the fortress tower vantage, the Bald Elder stared at the approaching beast. His voice low, grim:

"Ghidorah…"

As wind and destruction wrecked the city, the beast heard its name and glanced down.

When he recognized the Elder—bald, bespectacled—the beast touched down casually in a residential district, looking up.

---

"Five Elder?"

"Indeed," the Elder replied. His tone sharpened.

"Storming Marineford was audacious…

Storming Mary Geoise itself—this is suicide."

---

In an instant, three masked figures appeared behind him. Without hesitation, they unleashed the Sixth Fleet special technique—Storm Kick (Arashi-ashi).

---

Ghidorah barely moved.

Cold and disdainful, he said:

"When did you world government agents get to decide who may walk through my home?"

---

Three powerful kicks struck him—bursting against his form with explosive force, sending smoke dancing across the ground.

But to Ghidorah? The strikes left no mark.

---

"Your 'home'?"

"You're a stray dog… calling this your home?"

The Elder sneered.

---

Ghidorah spun instantly, his massive twin tails sweeping like dragons—obliterating the tower beneath.

The three CP‑0 operatives were buried under rubble.

The Bald Elder was thrown clean off the tower, falling to a neighboring rooftop.

---

"Fuming with rage, huh?"

The Elder drew his dagger, face set.

"I might not defeat you…"

"But a fight is worth having."

---

Ghidorah snorted.

Wings flared—he leapt high into the air. Feet planted with thunderous force. He slammed toward the Elder's rooftop.

At that moment, peace in Mary Geoise was irreversibly shattered.

---

Inside the castle, Celestial Dragons watched their towers collapse. They screamed in panic—some even bawled, snot and tears streaming, rushed to flee to the city's center.

The imposing Celestial Dragons had never felt fear until now.

Slaves and servants, gazing at the looming beast, stared wide-eyed—some flushed with excitement, as if witnessing a mad myth.

---

A terrifying storm had begun here—one that would soon engulf all of Mary Geoise.
