Lucifer glanced at the palace but didn't find much gold there.
This proved that Enel had not discovered the Golden City beneath the island clouds.
"You can go there if you want. Whether you find it or not depends on your ability," Lucifer said indifferently.
He knew where the Golden City was, and he also knew where the Golden Bell was. However, Lucifer wasn't interested in any of that.
He could synthesize gold himself, as much as he wanted.
As for the Golden Bell, Lucifer could create it with a single word.
The historical text engraved on it? Lucifer already understood the meaning of its contents.
It could be said that there was nothing on the entire Sky Island that could attract him.
Lucifer wouldn't have come here at all if he didn't want to recruit Enel as a crew member.
Cavendish left with Baby 5 and a few priests.
Lucifer walked to Enel's throne and sat down. The remaining priest, Shura, was very obedient and brought several beautiful Sky Island women to present him with delicious food and wine.
Enel had been treated by Sky Island's doctors and was covered in bruises, wrapped up like a mummy.
While Lucifer was eating, all the palace servants knelt on either side of him.

After years of training with thunder and lightning, Enel's physical fitness was exceptional.
After being treated, he regained consciousness the next day.
Enel opened his eyes and found himself lying in the palace. Everything that had happened before felt like a dream.
But the pain all over his body told him it wasn't a dream, but reality.
He had really been beaten.
"Yo, you're awake?" A plain voice spoke. Enel turned his head and immediately saw the face he hated most.
At that moment, the man was swaggering as he sat on Enel's throne.
All the priests and servants under him were now kneeling respectfully at his feet.
"You bastard..." Enel gritted his teeth.
Emotions surged, and thunder and lightning erupted from his body. Just as he was about to act, the familiar gravity pressed down on him again.
He was pinned to the ground, unable to move.
"Don't get excited, your injury hasn't healed yet."
"If you act rashly, you'll really die."
Lucifer spoke lightly, but Enel felt a chill.
This man had the power to kill him easily.
It made Enel feel a fear he hadn't experienced in a long time.
"What do you want?" Enel gritted his teeth and asked.
"You've probably guessed it by now. I'm a pirate from the Blue Planet."
"I still need a few more crew members, and you're a good fit."
Lucifer said with a smile.
"Sir? What are you kidding? I'm a god!"
Enel couldn't stand the insult and was furious.
However, the next moment, he was sent flying and rolled on the ground more than a dozen times.
The attack reopened the wounds that had been healed.
Lucifer sat on the throne, maintaining a calm smile.
"I'm a very reasonable person. I can talk things over, but I never use my hands."
"The most important thing is, I never force anyone. You can think it over again."
"Don't dream, I won't join you!"
Boom!
Enel was sent flying again.
"Think again. I have plenty of time."
Lucifer was calm and composed.
"Impossible!"
Boom!
"I will not surrender!"
"What!!!!"
"I'm a god..."
"Ouch!"
"Ah!!! Ah!!! Ah!!!"
Enel's screams echoed throughout the palace, sending chills down the spines of the priests kneeling around him.
All they wanted to say was: The new god is too cruel.
"Stop, stop! I say..."
"What!!!"
"I said yes, why are you still beating me?"
Enel lay on the ground, his face covered in blood, speaking aggrievedly.
"Ah? Yes, I didn't hear you."
Lucifer lowered his raised hand.
"Really agree? Don't force yourself. I'm very reasonable and never force anyone."
"You can think it over again, after all, there's plenty of time."
Lucifer said with a righteous tone.
"No, no, I'm very willing to join your pirate crew."
"From now on, I'll be your subordinate."
"If you need anything, don't be polite!"
Enel's heart bled as he spoke, utterly frustrated.
He had just wanted to stay at home, be a king, a god, giving orders and saying whatever he wanted.
Suddenly, a monster appeared out of nowhere, beat him senseless without saying a word, and took his position as a god.
He was forced to become a subordinate.
If he didn't agree, he was beaten again.
And that man kept saying things like "I'm not forcing you, I'm reasonable."
Is that what you call reasonable?
Enel looked at his bruised body, feeling a deep sorrow.
He didn't want to give in. He didn't want to be anyone's subordinate. But he had no choice.
This monster didn't play by the rules. He beat people when they disagreed with him.
He didn't kill him, he tortured him.
And the worst part? He smiled while doing it.
Enel was terrified. His dignity was shattered by Lucifer, and he could no longer act proud in front of him.
After all the torture, Lucifer had left a deep scar in Enel's heart, one that couldn't be calculated in size.
"Since you agree, you'll be part of the crew."
"Tell me, why were you so stubborn? Wouldn't it have been enough to agree earlier? Why make me beat you into submission? Was it really necessary?"
