A semi-circular shockwave burst from Uchiha Chiga's outstretched palm, its repulsive force blasting away the towering tsunami and splitting the sea once again. The redirected waves now surged toward the Whitebeard Pirates.
Reacting quickly, Whitebeard raised his arm again and launched another barrage of shockwaves, scattering the tidal waves before they could engulf his ship.
His attempt to intimidate the Navy had failed—and worse, it had bolstered their morale.

Navy soldiers below erupted with cheers as they watched Chiga make his move.
Seated at the center of the admiralty, Chiga tilted his head slightly toward his right.
"Kuzan, it's your turn."
There was authority in his voice—not a suggestion, but a command.
But Aokiji didn't show the slightest resistance. With a nod, his body turned into frost and instantly appeared at sea level.
The ice reformed into his human shape. Kneeling at the water's surface, Aokiji placed both hands on the sea and muttered,
In a matter of seconds, the ocean froze over, thick ice stretching all the way to the horizon.
After finishing, Aokiji looked up toward the Moby Dick, clearly considering advancing on Whitebeard.
But Chiga's voice echoed into his mind through Observation Haki.
"Return. It's pointless to confront him now."
Aokiji blinked, then turned his head. Seeing Chiga seated calmly above, he nodded once and returned to his chair.
Chiga had his reasons. Charging in now would have meant being shattered by Whitebeard's power. The man's body wasn't yet frail as in the war years ahead. A direct confrontation was premature.
Still, while Aokiji held back, Dracule Mihawk could not.
As expected, the World's Strongest Swordsman had long desired to test the strength of the World's Strongest Man.
Mihawk unsheathed the Black Blade Yoru, its ominous edge gleaming.
Kizaru smirked beside him.
"Looks like Mihawk's finally making a move."
Mihawk slashed forward, sending a green Flying Slash hurtling toward Whitebeard. But as anticipated, it was intercepted—by Jozu.
His torso now covered in diamond armor, Jozu grinned proudly at his defense.
Seated calmly, Chiga raised an eyebrow.
Without a word, he plucked a single Berry coin from his pocket, flipping it rhythmically between his fingers.
Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru glanced toward him curiously.
Electricity crackled faintly from the coin—purple lightning coiled around it.
Chiga flicked it with a snap of his finger.
The coin vanished in a streak of lightning, slamming into Jozu before anyone could react.
Jozu was launched backward, crashing deep into the thick ice.
The battlefield fell silent for a breath.
"Jozu!" Whitebeard roared. "Go down there, now!"
Pirates leapt off the ship and began digging Jozu out. When they finally pulled him free, his skin was scorched black, his body limp.
Whitebeard checked his condition—he was barely breathing.
Blue flames surged from Marco's hands. With the power of the Phoenix, he stabilized Jozu's injuries just enough to keep him alive.
But Whitebeard's patience had run dry.
Fury erupted in his eyes.
He stepped onto the frozen sea with a thunderous stomp.

A massive crescent shockwave roared toward the Admirals' platform.

In the blink of an eye, he reappeared in the sky above the incoming attack.

Everyone watched breathlessly as Chiga extended a single palm.
The shockwave collided with his hand—and stopped.

Chiga gave Whitebeard a faint smile.
Then closed his fingers.
The entire shockwave shattered like glass.
Every jaw dropped, and every eye widened. Marines and pirates alike stood frozen in disbelief.
Even Whitebeard muttered,
"...Are you a monster?"
Chiga didn't respond.
A flash of electricity burst from his form.
He teleported—appearing above Whitebeard in an instant.
"Damn it!" Whitebeard growled, raising his blade to block.
Chiga's leg, wrapped in lightning, descended in a clean arc—kicking the handle of the Murakumogiri with explosive force.
A blast of thunder erupted, the impact sending Whitebeard crashing through the ice below.
Chiga landed on the frozen sea, standing over the smoking hole.
"Speed is power. Ever been kicked by lightning?"
Gasps echoed across the Mobydick.
Pirates leaned over the railing, screaming in panic.
Back on the platform, Kizaru adjusted his sunglasses.
"Still think we need to step in?"
Aokiji remained speechless. Akainu, on the other hand, grinned wide.
"Excellent work, Chiga!"
High above, Garp wore his classic dumbfounded expression, snot dripping from his nose.
Then, a deafening wave of cheers exploded from the Navy ranks.
The battlefield tilted.

Chiga scanned the remaining pirate ships calmly. As his Rinnegan swept across the deck, the Division Commanders felt dread crawl down their spines.

Chiga's right arm crackled as it turned to lightning, aimed toward the ships.
Panicked, several commanders leapt from the deck, heading straight toward him. They knew they couldn't stop the attack—but they could at least try to redirect it from their crews.
Suddenly, a massive figure burst from the hole in the ice.
Though battered, he stood firm—blocking their path.
He crossed his arms, smirking slightly.
"You're still standing, Whitebeard. Guess there's life in you yet."
