Seeing the ministers leave the throne room, Ryuya smirked at King Sterry.
"Your Majesty, do you feel any remorse?"
"Remorse? What are you talking about? Weren't we discussing governance?"
Sterry's brazenness made Ryuya want to roll his eyes.
"I'm not interested in your governance.
If you remain king, this country will never know peace."
Sterry's anger flared.
You're just a Navy Admiral! I'm a World Government affiliate; you're supposed to protect us!"
Ryuya, unwilling to waste time arguing, coldly glared at Sterry. In an instant, he appeared before the king, leaning down.
"Then, allow me to take your throne for a while."
Ryūjin Jakka appeared in Ryuya's left hand, flames licking the blade. Sterry's eyes widened in shock.
He hadn't expected White Dove to harbor such ambition—to become king!
Wouldn't that be a dangerous revelation?
Before Sterry could plead, his thoughts seemed to freeze. He saw his body, blood gushing forth, instantly consumed by Ryūjin Jakka's flames.
The flames were efficient at eliminating any trace of the murder.
Ryuya snapped his fingers, activating his Bijo Bijo no Mi.

Having finished, Ryuya left the palace.
The ministers waited outside, expecting a summons from the king, but instead, Ryuya emerged.
"The matter is resolved. I'm leaving."
"Farewell, Admiral White Dove!"
Only after Ryuya's departure did they re-enter the palace.
They saw Sterry on his throne, but something seemed different.
"Your Majesty." They knelt before him.
The phantom Sterry nodded gravely.
"I had a delightful conversation with Admiral White Dove.
I've realized our country needs change! We must boost our economy, strengthen our military, expand our territories, and become the strongest nation! Even the giants will fear us!"
The ministers were dumbfounded. Was this their king? The cruel tyrant? The man who treated his people as mere tools?
Ryuya, unfazed by their shock, addressed them.
"Admiral White Dove and I discussed the need to improve the people's well-being. Only a strong populace can create a strong nation! The people are the foundation of a country!"
The phantom Sterry added, "A nation rises and falls with its people."
The ministers were moved. They knelt before Ryuya, "Your Majesty, with this vision, our nation will surely prosper!"
Outside, Ryuya smirked.
"Fire Dragon, let's go to Marineford!"
The Fire Dragon knelt, allowing Ryuya to mount. Just then, Garp called.
"Admiral Garp, I'm finished here. What is it?"
"Ryuya, I need your help. Doflamingo's ship is incredibly fast; we can't catch him. We're at a standstill."
Ryuya remained calm. "I understand, Admiral Garp. I'm coming."
After hanging up, Ryuya planned a four-month vacation after this!
He deserved a break after earning all this merit.
"Fire Dragon, to the South Blue! We're supporting Garp!"
The Fire Dragon roared, its wings beating faster, propelling them forward. Ryuya, with his Justice cape billowing behind him, looked incredibly cool.
Meanwhile, news of Ryuya's single-handed defeat of the Revolutionary Army spread rapidly.
It was impossible to conceal. Dragon, however, didn't try to hide it, spreading the news himself, along with a fabricated story about an agreement between Ryuya and the Revolutionary Army.
It was a lie, but it would cause Ryuya some trouble. Dragon's expectations weren't high…
