First and foremost, the Dawn Birds organization had become exponentially stronger.

After absorbing Big Mom's former crew, the Dawn Birds' power had reached terrifying levels in an incredibly short timeframe—a feat impossible for ordinary forces to achieve.

This surge in power wasn't solely due to numbers.

The Dawn Birds boasted exceptionally powerful individuals: Enel, capable of battling a non-serious Kizaru; Ace, carrying the bloodline of the Pirate King; Weevil, possessing the strength of a young Whitebeard; Kuina, a Supreme Grandmaster Swordsman wielding deadly killing intent; and Nami, who secretly controlled a significant portion of the world's wealth.

Furthermore, Robin, with access to numerous information sources, had established the Dawn Birds' intelligence network.

Each of these individuals could easily carve out a successful path in the Grand Line, let alone together as members of the Dawn Birds.

Their combined strength far surpasses any ordinary faction.

This led Morgan, the newspaper magnate, to propose a new theory: Zero, the Dawn Birds' leader, was a force surpassing even the Yonko, a terrifying figure standing above them all, a true Emperor overlooking the world's populace.

In other words, Morgan had effectively crowned Ryuya as the new Emperor.

One Emperor and Three Emperors—the strongest forces.

Zero single-handedly killed Big Mom, subdued the Marines, and rescued Ace, plunging the Grand Line into unprecedented chaos.

Even the Marines couldn't stop the rise of the Worst Generation.

Mary Geoise. Sengoku entered a palace where five elders sat, clearly surprised by his arrival.

"Sengoku, why are you here? Shouldn't you be handling the aftermath?" the elder wielding the Shodai Kitetsu asked. Discover more novels at NovelHub(.)net

Sengoku addressed the Gorosei, "I've come to resign. After this battle, I've realized I'm no longer fit to lead."

The Gorosei frowned, their gaze falling upon Sengoku's now completely white hair. "Sengoku, what are you doing? Your term is far from over!"

Sengoku shook his head. "I truly can't continue. The sea is changing too rapidly.

It needs a young, strong leader as Fleet Admiral, not an old man like me."

Sengoku projected the image of a weary hero. His actions frustrated the Gorosei, who had planned to promote Akainu as their puppet before Sengoku's term ended, rather than the less controllable White Dove Ryuya.

Sengoku's move threw them into a quandary.

"Sengoku, you really can't continue?"

Sengoku shook his head. "This sea... it's no longer for me."

His simple statement revealed his exhaustion.

As Fleet Admiral, Sengoku's every move commanded attention.

But this battle had revealed his limitations.

The immense pressure from Zero and Whitebeard had left him feeling powerless. He was, quite simply, too old to fight.

The Gorosei exchanged glances.

"We understand. Rest well. We'll discuss the next steps."

Watching Sengoku leave, the Gorosei sighed.

"Unbelievable. This is unexpected."

"Sengoku resigning during his term…"

"Instead of this, let's discuss the next Fleet Admiral."

Silence fell. They considered the current situation.

"Only White Dove Ryuya can truly quell the chaos, I fear."

"Quell it completely? Zero's not someone to be trifled with!" a bald elder pointed out.

The Gorosei agreed. The Mary Geoise riot demonstrated Zero's exceptional power. Subduing him demanded immense strength and decisive leadership.

"It seems only White Dove Ryuya can fill the role of Fleet Admiral."

"Akainu is too aggressive. Making him Admiral might fracture the Marines and cause further chaos."

"Kizaru is too lazy. He wouldn't want it."

"Aokiji is ultimately weaker than the other Admirals."

"Let's give White Dove full authority to quell the chaos."

All eyes turned to the elder with Shodai Kitetsu.

He nodded. "Imu-sama controls Uranus. Even if White Dove fails to quell the chaos, and they attack Mary Geoise, we'll be safe."

The Gorosei, as always, prioritized their own safety above all else.
