The anchor was quite experienced, gentle and was good at controlling the atmosphere. Yi Jie was a bit dull and didn’t say much, yet she was very polite and treated He Bai in a nice way, and she was not acting like a superstar at all.
After some simple communication, the interview started officially. The anchor talked with Yi Jie and He Bai was in the background to take some snaps at times. The interview ended after an hour and the shooting started right after.
Yi Jie followed He Bai’s ideas after getting her dress and makeup changed. She did whatever pose she was asked to, but she wasn’t really in the mood. He Bai looked at Yi Jie who was turning the book pages with her eyes looking down on the camera, looking a bit melancholy. He frowned a bit and sighed secretly.
Being an actor indeed could earn a lot of money, but the one who really did might not be happy.
Didn’t know what Childish Di was doing now…realizing that his mind had gone away, He Bai put himself together and focused on the shooting again. He tried to find a way to cheer Yi Jie up.
Three hours later, He Bai finally put down his camera and fell on the passenger’s seat after work. He smiled at Li Ru with some embarrassment, “Sorry for the long waiting, you don’t have to drive me all the way home and just drop me off at the subway station is fine. Have a rest soon.”

He Bai was so shocked that he sat straight up. Thinking about those videos and audio records of Di Qiuhe’s apology he saved on his laptop, he felt that his brain was blown off. He said worriedly, “I am coming back now!” Then he hung up the call and searched for the official website of the laptop, and logged in to the account he had activated in the very beginning to lock the files remotely.
Now he felt super lucky that he spent quite a sum of money to buy the laptop from this big brand. There must be a reason for that high price. At least he didn’t need to worry about any leakage when the laptop was lost. Now he only wished that the thief didn’t check out the files on his laptop but chose to run away with it when he got it.
“What happened?” Li Ru asked with worry as she saw his sullen face.
He Bai had to let her drive him back now. So he tried to say it without anxiety, “The dorm was burglarized and my laptop with important files was stolen. I need to go back now as soon as possible.”
Li Ru frowned after hearing that, and she stepped the pedal to speed up the car.
He Bai fastened the safety belt and called Di Qiuhe as something came up in his mind. But his phone was powered off, so he turned to dial Wang Boyi’s number.
“Yes, Mr. He. Master Di is now shooting for the play. He can only have a rest in half an hour.”
“Tell your boss that my laptop was stolen. And it has the videos and audio records he sent me of him apologizing to me with drinking alcohol! He has a team right? This theft must be conducted by some people they knew. But he as an instructor definitely had to take responsibility when there was a thief among those students.
Everyone nodded and sent him out of the dorm.
Locking out those curious eyes from the other dorms, Niu Junjie scratched his hair anxiously. He looked at Lao Da who was comforting Lao Er, he said in a bad mood, “There is nothing important on the laptops of mine and Lao Da, so it’s just fine to lose them. But Lao Er has got his paper on his laptop, so if his laptop is lost then all of his work for the entire year will be gone! Oh, and is there anything important on your laptop, Bai?”
He Bai wiped his face and nodded sadly, “Yes, I have important stuff there. And if they got leaked, Di Qiuhe would make the headlines…” That apologizing videos and that kissing audio record were just nasty history! So stupid!
After his words, the others looked at him altogether. Even Chen Jie who was in a sad mood was a bit cheered up.
“Something to make him the headlines…” Niu Junjie swallowed a mouthful of saliva and asked, “Shouldn’t it be the video of you and Di Qiuhe doing…then it must not be leaked. Do you need me to ask some hackers to help?”
He Bai was shocked by his words and kicked him angrily, “What are you talking about! We are just friends! The video I am talking about is the one he made to apologize to me! That was your bad idea! To drink three shots! How could it be leaked!”
“No, no…” Niu Junjie covered his mouth with embarrassment.
“Wait, hacker?” He Bai was struck, and his eyes were brightened suddenly. He took out the phone to call Xing Shaofeng and said happily, “I’ve got an idea! We can definitely get our files back!”
