Online Game: Starting With SSS-Ranked Summons Chapter 185

It would most likely require him to kill a Legendary-Grade Boss—and a Level 20 one at that.

Arthur clenched his fist. "That's not going to be easy."

Arthur had yet to face a Legendary-Grade Boss, but he wasn't afraid.

According to his estimate, he should have his second primordial beast before he faces a Legendary-Grade Boss, which will make it a piece of cake to kill it.

His gaze flicked back to Sylvaris, who was now slithering around, his scaled body shimmering with new power.

"I can't wait..." Arthur smirked, "A Void Devourer Sylvaris would be interesting to see."

Arthur closed the final evolution screen, exhaling deeply as the last set of stats faded from his vision.

Thirty minutes of going through every single summon's evolution pathway, dissecting each requirement, strategizing the next steps—it had been a lot. But it was worth it.

"Alright… let's see." He mentally recounted the findings, organizing them in his head.

Borak was simple. Too simple, actually.

His evolution pathway to Elite was practically laid out on a silver platter.

All he needed was steady farming—just pure grind. Nothing special, just like the beetles.

Arthur could easily leave Borak back in the village and let him farm weak monsters until he reached Epic grade.

"You're the easy one, huh?" Arthur muttered, picturing the lumbering Borak smashing through enemies with brute strength. "I'll let you handle the village mobs later..."

Arthur sighed, his gaze shifting toward the sky.

"Flying beasts…" he muttered.

Hank's evolution pathway was annoying. In order to evolve, Hank needed to kill flying monsters—and Arthur had yet to encounter a single one in all his time playing. No harpies, no eagles, not even a damn bat.

It made things complicated.

"I'll check the guild later. Maybe there's a mission or info on flying-type beast zones. Someone's bound to know." He scratched his chin, already mentally preparing for the research grind.

Then there was Sunless.

Arthur rubbed his temples, already feeling the headache coming.

Sunless needed to kill Undead.

"Seriously? Where the hell am I supposed to find those?" Arthur muttered in frustration. "I haven't seen a single undead besides Sunless, since I entered this world."

The evolution requirements weren't just a few skeletons either—Sunless needed a large number of Undead kills, and Arthur had no leads.

"What next? I'm supposed to dive into some cursed catacombs or open a portal to hell?" He let out a dry chuckle, shaking his head.

It was the most complex evolution by far, and there was no clear path forward.

"I'll figure it out eventually," he told himself. No point rushing. Sometimes the game revealed what you needed when you least expected it.

Then, there was Lupin.

Arthur's smirk returned.

"You're almost there, buddy."

Lupin's evolution was the most natural out of all the summons. Farming alongside Jasmine had done wonders.

The little healer hadn't realized it, but while she was gleefully shooting arrows and levelling up, Lupin had been stacking kills and fulfilling the conditions for evolution.

Focus: Before specialising in a certain field, Lupin must first reach epic grade. The requirements below, are to evolve Lupin to become Elite Grade

Lupin was nearly done with both.

"Just a few more and you'll be Elite," Arthur said, pleased.

The plan was forming in his mind now.

"I'll leave Borak and Lupin in the village. They can handle the farming there. Borak can grind to Epic slowly, and Lupin will finish his evolution soon enough and grind to epic too."

As for Hank and Sunless, they were going to take more work.

"I'll need to head back to the city soon. The guilds, the academy—they should have records of flying monster territories or known Undead zones."

But he didn't want to rush back just yet.

Arthur stretched his arms, feeling the tension in his shoulders ease.

"Let the summons farm here for a bit. More kills, more experience in battles, and I'll gain that sweet XP too." With every summon actively killing, his experience bar would slowly tick up.

Arthur stood in the middle of the forest, the faint rustling of leaves around him, his thoughts spiraling deeper.

The Goblin King, the Lesser Demon, and Aamon—each of them still had evolution paths waiting to be fulfilled. Each of them was powerful, but their potential hadn't been fully tapped yet.

"The Goblin King needs to slay more goblins…" Arthur muttered, rubbing his chin.

'I don't know any place where I could find goblins. The goblin king needs to wait...'

But the Lesser Demon and Aamon were a different story.

Both required demonic kills—and that was going to be more complicated.

Arthur crossed his arms, thinking it through.

He wasn't too worried about it, though. The plan was already forming in his mind.

"Once I start expanding the village beyond the fifty-kilometre range, we'll start encountering demons and stronger creatures," Arthur thought. "It's inevitable."

The area around the village was relatively tame, but the farther out he ventured, the darker things got. And beyond that fifty-kilometre radius? That's where the true threats lingered—demonic creatures, cursed lands, corrupted forests. It was only a matter of time before he'd be face-to-face with more than enough demons to evolve Aamon and the Lesser Demon.

But there was no rush.

"First things first," he muttered.

He wasn't going to dive into dangerous territory without being prepared.

Arthur's main goal right now was simple: hit level 20.

He wanted to summon his second Primordial Beast before attempting anything that reckless. That would give him the extra firepower he needed. His first primordial beast had been game-changing.

A second one? That would make him unstoppable.

'I can't wait to find out what my second primordial summon will be.'

But above all—there was something more pressing. Something that felt heavy on his chest.

Arthur clenched his jaw, the familiar feeling of urgency rising.
