Oops, Mommy Slept With A Tyrant Chapter 224

"Mommy, this is Daddy’s grandfather." Keira giggled once she saw Kelsie.

Jesse was the only confused one.

This grandpa kept touching his face with a friendly smile and without a single word of who he was.

So hearing his sister refer to him as daddy’s grandfather, he turned to her in surprise, "You know who this is?"

"Mhm. Zade searched him up online. It’s so nice Daddy invited him to come see us."

Kelsie and Jett exchanged quiet glances.

Now that she thought of it, Jack Adler had told her on many occasions how much he wanted her to be with a certain grandson of his.

Since she not only declined his offer but even had children with another of his grandson, wouldn’t that make him sad?

His heart was already so fragile, if it broke...

As if reading her thoughts, the man turned toward her, his cheeks pulling back into a bright grin.

"Ms. Sutton, you’ve been standing there for a while. Won’t you take your seat?"

The words were barely out of his mouth when Daniel exhaled in relief, reaching out to sit—only to freeze when Jack shot him a sideways glare.

He immediately straightened up.

"But Grandfather, what did I do wrong? I watched the boys for the past few days. Don’t I deserve some accolade? Maybe some money or even a new sports car to drive... them around in?"

Jack ignored him and got to his feet. Since Kelsie was still too confused to sit, he took her hand and gently guided her to the seat beside him.

She winced slightly as she sat down, but it was gone the very next second when he looked at her again, leading him to think he saw wrong.

Certain she was comfortable, he walked around the house and took a mop stick from the kitchen.

The nanny, who had just finished the dishes, frowned slightly upon seeing him holding the mop stick.

"Did you spill water somewhere, mister? Leave it to me to clean it up."

Contrary to the hard frowns he gave the boys, he shook his head gently and wiggled the stick.

"This isn’t just a mop stick for cleaning spilled water. If handled correctly, it makes a very good disciplinarian."

Eric and Daniel exchanged glances.

They had just made to run when Jack chortled.

"Whichever of you keeps the other from moving won’t get beat."

The duo paused—and as expected, began wrestling each other immediately.

Jett watched the sight with a sigh.

This old man was really having fun, huh?

Coming to a woman’s house wasn’t enough—he even stroked their children and walked around like it was his.

Jett blinked as a gust of air hit his face out of nowhere and looked to see Jack waving the stick threateningly in front of him.

"What do you want now?"

Jack sneered, "My grandson suddenly locked down the city and put the enforcement teams on high alert for no reason."

"I thought you had been attacked by a riffraff and came to see you. Imagine my surprise when I arrived and saw your security patrolling this floor."

"Since you were fine and had your security here, I knew instantly who lived here. So I came in, ready to burst through the door and beat the woman with three children you’ve been seeing. Only to find a miniature version of you answering the door and Daniel right behind him."

"Then I saw Eric inside the house, and then you, cradling a little girl on your thigh. I would’ve thought the worst if I hadn’t seen my grandson first!"

Kelsie didn’t know when she choked on her saliva. The urge to correct him welled up before she realized there was nothing wrong with what he said.

After all, she had come out of the bathroom intending to ask Jett to introduce the triplets to his grandfather.

Once the public knew of their existence, whoever was after her might think twice before coming for either of them and refocus on her instead.

Jett lifted his chin defiantly, "And so? Can’t a man have a few little secrets of his own?"

Jack huffed, "Forget it. Act however you want, I no longer care. I’ll spend all my days with my adorable babies and not bother with you."

Jett was speechless. "What do you mean, ’your babies’? They’re my children. If you want to spend time with them, you have to apologize to me."

Eric and Daniel, still mid-wrestle, paused, perplexed by the shamelessness and looked over at the duo.

Jack ignored all three of them and turned to advice Kelsie.

"Dear, save your time and energy with this one. He’s a rascal who doesn’t deserve you one bit."

"Grandfather!" The shocked gasp escaped his lungs before Daniel could stop it.

"Oh, how happy your grandmother would be to see these adorable little ones!" Daniel ignored their bewilderment and tuned to the triplets who had sauntered over to him, squatting to tug their cheeks again.

After playing with them for a while, he turned to Kelsie, his aged eyes burning with intensity.

"So, have we found this unfortunate person?"

"That’s not for you to worry about." Jett frowned.

Jack pursed his lips and snorted, "They touch you, I don’t care. But when it comes to these adorable ones and my granddaughter in-law, I care too much."

"I’ll do whatever it takes to catch this sick bas..." He caught on on time and trailed off before he cussed in front of the triplets.

Kelsie shifted in her seat and leaned forward.

"Actually, I was thinking... is it possible to announce to the world that you have great-grandchildren who are triplets?"

Jett’s eyes widened, and Jack reached immediately for his phone. He made one call, and the news spread like wildfire.

Laura was browsing the internet in the living room when she saw the headline.

"Dad, Mom! The Adler family just informed everyone they have a set of triplets in the family!"

The words had barely left her mouth when the telephone beside her began ringing.

The three exchanged glances before Jerry picked it up and put it on speaker.

"Congratulations! You’re now in-laws with the Adler family. By any chance, you haven’t forgotten what comes next, have you?" The same person who just conversed with Kelsie, beamed.

Jerry gritted his teeth.

"You have nothing to worry about. That heartless girl abandoned us when we needed her the most and let Jett Adler wreck us. I’ll be damned if I don’t do much worse to her and her scrawny little ones!"
