At this moment, Jia Nailiang knew full well that the host was deliberately using him and his wife to boost the show’s ratings. But the problem was, they had already made bold claims earlier. Now, they had no choice but to grit their teeth and keep watching the exposé on the giant screen.
Both Jia Nailiang and Li Xiaolu silently prayed that whatever was about to be revealed wouldn’t be too damning.
Seeing the couple reluctantly agree to stay, the host smiled and said,
“Since you’ve decided to keep watching, let me ask you a hypothetical question.”
“If—and I mean if—the things exposed in this next segment are something you’d never want to happen… would you still stand by your relationship?”
Jia Nailiang and Li Xiaolu’s expressions stiffened.
Li Xiaolu didn’t know how to answer and glanced at her husband.

The director frowned at the giant screen’s revelations. “Check if we have a contestant named PG One this season!”
A staff member flipped through the registration list and gasped. “Director! There is a PG One—and he looks exactly like the guy in the exposé!”
The assistant director paled. “Director, if this guy’s future scandal blows up, should we… cut him now?”
The director smirked. “Cut him? Are you insane?”
“This isn’t a crisis—it’s free publicity!”
“Not only are we keeping him, we’re pushing him hard!”
The assistant hesitated. “But Jia Nailiang and Li Xiaolu are our celebrity guests. If we keep PG One, won’t Jia Nailiang—”
The director waved him off. “Wake up! After this, Jia Nailiang won’t dare show his face here.”
“PG One’s scandal is just an affair—no crime, just drama. And you know what? Fans eat that up.”
Seeing the director’s resolve, the assistant sighed and went to relay the orders.

PG One jolted awake, dazed.
GAI laughed. “Finally! The screen just exposed your little fling with Li Xiaolu!”
PG One blinked. “Who?”
“Li Xiaolu,” GAI repeated. “Jia Nailiang’s wife! Damn, bro, you moved up in the world!”
