Dorothy looked at the twenty to thirty-meter-long mechanical dragon in front of her somewhat surprised, blinking bewilderingly.
Though she constantly mentioned it was just a model, in reality, this thing wasn't remotely close to a model. Apart from its size truly being scaled down to a mini version, none of the warship functionalities were compromised; it was a genuine miniature warship.
Therefore, even someone as confident as her didn't really expect to succeed on the first try. This attempt was just out of an itch to tinker around, and failing would have been normal, serving as an enriching experience for her future official warship construction.
After all, with the fifty-year agreement with Mother Superior, she would definitely need to assemble one or two fleets later, but being as broke as she was, buying an existing warship was absolutely out of the question. Her only option was to build one herself.
But this first real attempt at shipbuilding seemed suspiciously smooth. There were no glitches, no anomalies, just a smooth completion.

Well, at least that's what the books said, but now having personally participated in constructing one and witnessing its completion, Little Fox couldn't help feeling she might have been misled before.
"What are you thinking, Audrey? Although we can indeed call it a warship, the word 'war' is somewhat misleading. Real warships require military-grade materials, which alone might take months or years just to smelt and shape, not to mention the subsequent forging. And here we've just used civil construction materials."
"Besides, the gap in construction difficulty and workload between these mini warships and full-sized ones is massive. Don't start thinking real warships are that simple," Senior Mia quickly said, correcting the nearly misguided thoughts of her naïve fox junior.

At just sixteen years old she succeeded in building a warship; imagining what Dorothy could do at one hundred sixty was something even the Hat Senior Sister dared not think. Such talent had to be closely guarded, not to be whisked away.
Finally, Dorothy took an empty wine bottle out of her pocket and aimed its mouth at the White Dragon Warship. With a swoosh, the ship shrunk and got sucked into the bottle.
The homebody witch screwed on the cap tightly and looked at the tiny warship inside the bottle, the once formidable and imposing mechanical White Dragon now curled up soundly asleep.
She snapped her fingers, and two vines dropped from the massive oak tree behind her, forming a small bottle holder. Dorothy placed the wine bottle on the vine holder, and just like that, it became a parking spot.
"Alright, it's getting late, and we're all tired. Let's test the warship's performance tomorrow. For now, it's time for a celebration feast. You guys take a bath first; I'll start preparing dinner," she said, feeling very pleased as she turned to her dear friends.
