"It's not invisibility but a Maze Formation. They are still here; we just can't see them anymore. Lady Sophia, please be very careful. The most terrifying aspect of the Eight Trigrams Formation is its bewildering effect, which can confuse those within the Formation's perception and even the concepts of space and time. If you act rashly, you might even run onto their blades."
Michael promptly reported what he knew to Sophia upon seeing this.

The most disgusting part of the Eight Trigrams Formation lies here; if you move erratically within the Formation, you might get bewitched and run headlong into the enemy's arms, seeking your own death.
But if you hesitate and stay in place, then you can't break the Formation, and prolonged high alertness will eventually wear you down. Once your energy dips, and the enemy attacks again, it's still a death, only a slow one at that.
