Her eyes were slightly squinted, her long eyelashes curled up — it was adorable and accentuated her youthful charm.
“Victoria.” As soon as Alexander Mitchell opened his mouth, a wave of bitterness overwhelmed him.
Victoria, looking at Alexander Mitchell in front of her, knew that she had no more places to hide, and so she faced him directly.
Just like Aubree Field said, Alexander Mitchell was not in good shape. His haggard face said it all.

Alexander Mitchell swallowed, saying, “The fiancé you mentioned, it’s Arnold Johnson, right?”
Seeing him mention Arnold Johnson’s name, Victoria was surprised. But soon, she regained her composure.
“Yes.” She did not deliberately hide anything and honestly admitted to it.
Even though he already knew the truth, hearing her admit it personally caused turmoil in Alexander Mitchell’s heart — it felt like roiling hot water, constantly tormenting him.
