Azelis's lips faintly curved as she smiled and continued, her voice reverberating across the ground, "I'll make you my first-ever apprentice. For your information, this is considered a position higher than normal newbie members of Ouroboros Hall, as you will get personal guidance from me and other benefits."

The students went bonkers.
"Well, well, you are one hell of a lucky kid," Danny said with a laugh. "If only I got such an opportunity at your age."
The other Emperor-rank Tamers couldn't help but wryly smile at that offer.
'Azelis, I know he is talented, but don't spoil him too much lest he turn rotten,' Lainey gave free advice from experience.
"Of course," Azelis continued as her eyes turned a bit sharper on John. "If you slack in working hard and your progress is not satisfactory, I won't hesitate to demote you."
John smiled and nodded. "You won't be disappointed, teacher. I'd like to join the Ouroboros Hall."
As John looked at Max and Yuna, Max gave him a thumbs-up with a grin, while Yuna nodded, her smile bittersweet.
She did wish John to be by her side in the same sect if possible, but more than that, she didn't want to rob him of his opportunities.
"Our business here is done," Azelis said before she looked at her fellow Emperor-rank tamers. "We will take our leave now."
After saying that, she didn't wait for responses and waved her hand as a light shot out from her towards the sky before it turned into a giant black dragon.
John found himself floating, carried by a mysterious wind alongside Azelis, as both of them flew up and arrived on the dragon's back.
Looking at John, Azelis said.
"Do you want to visit your family before leaving? I don't want you to leave for at least a year once we go to the Heavenrend region unless there's some emergency in your family."
"Though I doubt you would want to leave." Azelis chuckled. "The Heavenrend region is completely different than the other four regions. It's connected to the bigger part of this world, and everything is highly advanced there."
"Yeah, Yuna told me I'd get my mind blown once I'm there," John smiled and added. "As for my family, they are already with me. My Pet Monsters. So I have no reason to return here or visit anywhere."
Seeing her uncertain expression, John clarified promptly with a chuckle, "As far as I know, I came to this world alone. I have no recollection of my parents, and I grew up on my own. For me, being a Tamer and becoming stronger is everything."
'No wonder his bearing is more stable than other kids...'
Ruffling John's hair gently, Azelis grinned, "You are a strong kid, and I'll make sure to make you a strong tamer as well. Consider your teacher here a new member of your family."
"Yes, teacher," John cheekily smiled, barely stopping his eyes from looking at her ample bosom that moved with her hand movements. 'Oof, my young blood is quite raging. I might have to relieve myself with one-handed calisthenics later.'
"Sit here and relax. We'll reach the Heavenrend region after three hours."
As Azelis spoke and walked a few meters ahead, a barrier covered both of them before the dragon sped up.
'Damn!' John was startled at the speed. 'How fast are we going?'
"Teacher, how far until we reach Ouroboros Hall's headquarters?"
"It's roughly three thousand kilometers away from here."
"I see."
'That's one thousand kilometers per hour!' John was internally startled. 'It's slower than Jets on Earth, but I feel like this dragon is not flying at full speed.'
John was curious and inspected the dragon.

"Yep." Azelis sat down nearby and took out fried snacks from her storage ring.
"But skills can be flexible. You can have multiple combo moves attached to one skill, allowing you to execute different strategies according to the situation. You also need to train your Pet in a way that their skill sets are properly developed based on the Monster's specialty and talents. Even if there are two Monsters of the same species, both would have different talents and combat styles depending on the type of combo moves they develop."
Azelis poured the snacks into a big bowl and said, "Eat. I made them personally. They are my favorite snacks."
John ate some and immediately felt a jolt along with spiciness, hotness, and a delicious salt-mixed taste. But that wasn't all. He actually felt stronger!

Seeing John's shocked expression, Azelis chuckled. "These are made from special resources that aren't available on this Gratar continent. They grow on Spirit Ocean's exotic archipelago."
"As for the stats, you only get a permanent boost a few times when you first eat this. After that, it just becomes regular snacks. But they are very tasty."
"Yeah...super tasty," John breathed out as he felt spiciness and water filling his mouth due to it, but he grabbed a bit more snacks and ate them.
His Defense and Speed also increased by 1 next.
Azelis took out a metallic bottle and handed it to John, who promptly drank from it and wryly smiled. "Thanks."
John ate a few more but didn't get any boost. However, he soon felt drowsy. He also hadn't slept yet.
"Sleep. I'll wake you up when we arrive," Azelis said upon seeing John getting sleepy.
John nodded and promptly lay down before he began snoring within a minute.
Meanwhile, inside the Monster Paradise, Alfred was talking with the two new Silver-rank Monsters in the cage. Chuthulos became interested and decided to add a minor but very interesting function in the Monster Paradise for Monsters.
