Overlord: The Multiverse Chapter 183

I raised an eyebrow at Death's suggestion. "Demon Slayer, huh?" I mused, considering the possibilities.

It's a wonderful world, full of intense battles against demons and powerful swordsmen with unique abilities.

The constant fight for survival, the dedication to improving oneself, and the bonds formed amidst danger all appealed to me.

There was something inherently thrilling about the idea of facing off against demons, each with their own unique abilities and strengths.

It definitely had that mix of action and adventure I was looking for. And, of course, there was one more important thing—well, more like two things: Shinobu Kocho and Mitsuri Kanroji.

Both were fascinating characters in their own right. Shinobu, with her calm and gentle demeanor masking a fierce determination and clever combat style.

And Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, with her boundless energy and incredible strength, not to mention her unique and, well, quite attractive personality.

Just thinking about them brought a smirk to my face. "Yeah, I can see why that world would be interesting," I said, chuckling. "Not just for the action but also for… other reasons."

Death raised an eyebrow, catching my drift immediately. "Other reasons, huh?" she said with a playful smirk. "You know, dear, I'm starting to get worried."

"Worried? Why?" I asked, genuinely curious about what she could mean.

She leaned in slightly, her smile widening with that mischievous glint in her eyes. "Because I think, one of these days, someone is going to cut your dick off."

I blinked at her bluntness, caught off guard. "Whoa, that's pretty extreme, don't you think?"

Death just laughed softly, shaking her head. "With the way you keep adding to your collection of lovers and pushing boundaries, it's only a matter of time before you meet someone who won't tolerate your antics. And given your penchant for dangerous women, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them decided to take matters into her own hands—literally."

I winced at the thought, imagining all the potential of meeting Yanderes. "Okay, okay, point taken. I'll try to be more careful, alright?"

She chuckled again, her tone lighter now. "Just a little advice from someone, who doesn't want to kill your lovers, if they try to hurt you. Besides, I'd prefer you in one piece."

To do what? Milk me dry.

I nodded, still half-smiling. "I appreciate the concern, Death. I'll keep it in mind, especially when I eventually head over to that demon-filled world."

Death nodded, satisfied with my response. "Good. Now, finish up your business here, and maybe take a moment to think about how many yanderes you really want in your life."

With a laugh, I replied, "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Thanks, Death."

She winked, turning to leave. "Just doing my job, dear. Just doing my job."

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to clear the lingering haze of sleep after meeting Death. The first thing I saw was Sona sitting nearby, engrossed in a thick book. Her eyes were focused, her brow furrowed slightly in concentration. She looked so calm and composed, completely absorbed in whatever she was reading.

As I stirred, her gaze flicked up to meet mine. Upon seeing that I was awake, she closed the book gently and placed it on her lap.

"You know, Alex, it's not a good habit to sleep in some random corner," she chided softly, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes.

I chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I didn't exactly plan on dozing off like that. I just... needed a moment to clear my head."

"So, what did Death tell you?" Sona asked, her voice calm but curious. Hearing her question, I looked at her in surprise.

How did she know? The only one I told about Death in this world is Rias… Right, they are best friends.

"Rias mentioned it, didn't she?" I asked, piecing it together. I shouldn't have been surprised; Sona and Rias shared almost everything with each other.

Sona nodded, her expression neutral. "She did. She was worried about you and thought I should know as well." She paused, then added, "I hope you don't mind."

I sighed, not annoyed, but rather amused by the way things worked around here. "Nah, it's fine. I should have expected it, honestly." I met her gaze, then continued, "Death just wanted to check in on me, remind me of a few things, and, well, she gave me a new class."

Sona raised an eyebrow. "A new class? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"Depends on how you look at it," I said with a grin. "But it comes with some interesting perks… and risks."

Sona asked, "What kind of perks and risks are we talking about?"

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to divulge. "Well, it seems to amplify my appeal to certain types of people. Let's just say it might attract some… obsessive types more than before."

Sona frowned slightly, clearly considering the implications. "That sounds like it could be dangerous."

"Yeah, no kidding," I replied, shrugging.

Sona looked at me. "You need to be careful, Alex. You're already a magnet for trouble as it is."

Now she is starting to sound like a wife.

I laughed at that. "Tell me about it. But don't worry, I've got some experience handling crazy situations."
