"Because you are sexy." I said to Yuki, and just then a voice heard from outside.
"No fair, my lord!" Shalltear pouted, her voice tinged with mock indignation. "You haven't said that to me! I'm supposed to be your favorite, am I not?"
Lupusregina chuckled, clearly enjoying Shalltear's theatrics. "I gotta agree with her, My Lord," she said, leaning casually against the doorway. "If compliments are being handed out, I wouldn't mind hearing one or two myself."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I swear, you two..."
Shalltear's pout deepened. "My lord, it's unbecoming for you to be so stingy with your affection." She crossed her arms, pushing her chest forward slightly in an overtly provocative gesture. "After all, I am your most devoted servant."
Yuki, who had been watching the exchange with wide eyes, finally found her voice. "Um... is this normal?"
"For them? Unfortunately, yes," I said, giving her a reassuring smile.
Shalltear turned her gaze to Yuki. "Oh, don't worry, dear. You'll get used to it. After all, you're one of us now."
"My lord," she interrupted, stepping closer. Her voice dropped to a sultry tone, and her eyes locked onto mine with a predatory gleam. "It's not fair for you to tease someone else when I'm right here." Before I could react, she leaned in, her soft lips pressing against mine with a boldness that was entirely her own.
Her kiss was warm and assertive, her hands gently resting on my shoulders as if staking her claim. I let her have her moment, though I couldn't help but feel amused by her audacity. She pulled back slightly, her face a mixture of satisfaction and expectation.
"My lord," she murmured, her crimson eyes meeting mine, "you should pay more attention to your loyal servant."
I chuckled, brushing a strand of silver hair away from her face. "Shalltear, you never fail to surprise me."
"Good," she replied with a smirk, clearly pleased with herself. She stepped back but remained close, as if daring anyone else to challenge her position.
Meanwhile, Lupusregina shifted awkwardly by the door. Her usual cheerful grin was nowhere to be seen; instead, she seemed unusually quiet, her gaze flickering between Shalltear and me. She opened her mouth as if to speak but hesitated.
"Lupus?" I called, noticing her unease. "What's on your mind?"
She blinked, her cheeks reddening slightly. "Oh, nothing, my lord," she said quickly, her voice unusually soft. "I was just... um..." She trailed off, fidgeting with the edge of her cloak.
Shalltear, noticing her hesitation, turned her attention to the werewolf maid. "Lupus, you're awfully quiet," she said teasingly. "Don't tell me you're feeling left out."
Lupus's ears twitched slightly, a clear sign that she was flustered. "I'm not feeling left out!" she said, though her tone lacked conviction. "I'm just... observing!"
I raised an eyebrow. "Observing, huh?"
Lupus nodded quickly, but her gaze betrayed her nervousness. It was clear she wasn't used to being in such a vulnerable position. Despite her usual outgoing personality, this side of her was endearing in its own way.
Yuki, who had been silently watching the exchange, suddenly stood up. Her cheeks were still red, and she seemed overwhelmed by the situation. "I, um... I think I'll give you all some privacy," she said hastily before making her way toward the door.
"Yuki, wait—" I began, but she was already out of the room. The door clicked shut behind her, leaving the rest of us in an awkward silence.
Shalltear let out a melodramatic sigh. "Such a shy little thing," she said, her tone dripping with amusement. "But that just leaves more time for us, doesn't it, my lord?"
I gave her a pointed look. "Shalltear, you're as incorrigible as ever."
"And you love me for it," she replied with a wink.
Lupus, meanwhile, seemed to be somewhat embarrassed; this is my first seeing that.

"Lupus," I said gently, "come here."
She hesitated for a moment before stepping closer. Her usual energy seemed subdued, replaced by a nervous anticipation. When she finally reached me, she looked up, her amber eyes uncertain but hopeful.
Without letting her wait, I give her a deep kiss.
Just then, the door creaked open slightly. A pair of curious eyes peeked through the crack—Yuki was clearly unable to resist her curiosity.
